"Hello! I'm [Name]," The [H/c]ette spoke solemnly to the boy, reaching out her -scarred,mudded hand up to him, her warm [E/c] eyes making the atmosphere around the two slightly lighter. The Boy cautiously reached for her hand and shook it, "Hello," he mumbled but loud enough for her to hear him. "I'm Lucas-"
The boy spoke up to her a small smile appearing on his chapped, burnt lips. The girl let go of his hand sitting back down on the old wooden boat. She looked over to her Older sister Amicia-, and younger brother Hugo-
Amicia was sitting straight across from [Name], her head slowly falling nodding off in and out of consciousness, but springing back up trying to fight the monster of sleep.  She looked over to her little brother who was sound asleep on Amicia's lap as her battered hand stroked softly in his hair slightly as she tried not to drift off into dreamland, but failed from the exhausting events that happened 2 days prior without a wink of rest.
[Name] let out a small giggle at her sister, grinning a bit.
"You really care about them." Lucas said soft monotone voice careful not the wake the other two. [Name] looked up at the boy who was steering the boat through the river. "Yeah...They are the only family I have left..." She said looking back down, a frown replacing the small grin she had on a few momments prior.
Lucas looked back at her sharing the same pain as her of being an orphan.
"Treasure the people, who stay with you through thick and thin," Lucas said softly making the [H/c]ette look at him.
"It's what Laurentius used to tell me when I felt alone and helpless." He said smiling at the nostalgic memories he had with the late magister. [Name] still staring slightly confused at the boy who comforted a complete stranger he only knew for less than half a day. Taking in the details of his face his button like nose fitting perfectly with his sharp jawline that was littered in burns and tiny scars- His mudded color hair that glowed a bit in the setting sun, shadowed by the fog. The part about him she couldn't stop staring at was his eyes- they looked like an ocean trapped in a giant fog dimming out its true color.
"What are you going to do?" He asked suddenly breaking [Name] out of her fixation.

"Do about what?" She asked slightly confused at what he meant.
He looked towards her speaking in a husher tone.
"About the Inquisition, being after not just your brother but- You..? "
[Name] looked away from Lucas and back to her siblings sleeping soundly, almost without a care in the world.
She breathed in shakily knowing that this could be the only option
"I won't tell them-" She spoke not looking at him.
"It's better if they don't know so Amicia only has to worry about protecting Hugo..."

Lucas lets out a disappointed sigh-
"Do you really think that this is going to be the best option not just for you but...them?
