She jolted up and looked everywhere to see where the sound was coming from.
*ring*
" Shit- My phone-"
She quickly got off the bed and ran to her phone. It was a call from.. Sean. She picked it up and answered the call.
" Uh Hello? " S: " Hello, sorry to disturb you. " " Oh no, it's fine! What's up? "
Yuki sat down, slouching on the chair.
S: " I just wanted to check in on you." " Awh.. That's so sweet of you." S: " Heh.. So, did you sleep well? " " I did! " S: " That's good to hear. "
She smiled while looking down, touched by how Sean cared so much. They've only been friends for two days, yet he treats her like they've known each other for a long time. It feels like she has butterflies in her stomach.
" What about you? Did you sleep well? " S: " I did, though I kind of stayed up late. " " Oh why? "
Sean went silent for a moment. Some inaudible sounds were heard from the other side. Yuki was trying to listen in, but couldn't understand anything. But then Sean muttered something, just loud enough for her to hear.
S: " I was just thinking about you. "
Her eyes widened and she started blushing. She couldn't comprehend what he just said. She feels as if her heart is fluttering. What does he mean by that? Surely he meant it in another way, right?
" Wha.. Sorry.. Could you repeat that? " S: " I was just thinking of.. Something." " Ah.. Okay. "
That's not what he previously said. But even if he did repeat what he actually said, it probably doesn't mean anything.
S: " Hey Yuki, I have to go. We'll continue this conversation later? " " Yeah sure, take care. " S: " You too. "
*call has ended.* She set down her phone on the table, and rested her head in her hand. Thinking about what Sean said.

She pondered in her mind, zoning out for a little while. Then she snapped back to reality.
( I should just forget it. )
She stood up and went to take a bath. She stepped in the shower and closed the door. Slowly turnint on the water. The water drops on to her head, as she looks up while closing her eyes. Taking a bath is nice, she said in her mind. After 30 minutes, she went out of the bathroom. She was thinking of going to the park, only this time Sean isn't with her. She searched in her closet and found something casual to wear.
