"Who do you think can run the fastest to the wall over there?" A girl with black hair, red highlight on the left protested with confidence.
The the black haired boy walked over the little girl and chuckled.
"Hahaha, me obviously." The boy said with sass.
The nine year old gawked at him and sticked out her tongue "ha! In your dreams! The one who loses has to drink the expired milk in the fridge!" She shouted and started to run.
The boy made a evil smile and started to run after her.
When she saw how he was gonna beat her she tried to run faster but tripped.
The boy stoped running and saw the black haired girl face flat on the ground.
"Phoenix!" He shouted visibly worried and ran to her.
"Are you okay?!" He asked with a hint of a laughter because how the black haired girl was positioned on the ground.
"Hahahaha!" She lifted her head and started laughing.
The boy sighed of relief and laughed too.
"Did you haha- see how i fell?!" She said while getting up.
"Yeah I did see, scared the shit out of me first." He chuckled nervously at the last part.
"Hehe!" She giggled.
"Your nose is bleeding." He said holding her face and smiling.
"Oh, I hadn't noticed." She said in a oblivious tone.
"I won." They both said.
"No I won!" She shouted angrily. "You didn't even touched the wall!" She said angrily.
He started to run and touched the wall.
He gave the little girl a smirk while she was furious.
"Haha, Guess you have to drink the milk." He said shouting.
"Not fair I fell!" She yelled.
"I'm gonna be stronger and faster than you one day." She huffed.
"I'm sure you will." He said walking over to her and hugged her and she hugged back.
"Now, let's get nose fixed up shall we?" He said
She smiled "yeah, can you give me a piggy back?" She asked a bit shy.
"Sure" he kneeled down and she got in his back.
"Are you always gonna be my pal rival?" She asked.
"Always." He said softly.
I'm having such a shit day but writing this helped me to calm myself.
Anyways I hoped you enjoyed this and yes it's a different writing style I wanted to try something new.
