((This chapter will be rather dramatic. Yes. Dramatic. Well, this one and the next one. But it'll be worth it! I promise! We'll get to the 'love' part! :D))

I cast an annoyed glance at Draco as another parchment bird began to circle my head. “Stop.” He was already in the process of folding and enchanting yet another. Curse you, Professor Flitwick – you had to teach us all to enchant inanimate objects to act like living things. Another bird circled my head. “Stop!” Another. “Damn it all, Draco, stop!” Finally tired of yelling at him with no avail, I flung a bunch of grapes at him. He ducked.

“Tsk, tsk. Someone has a nasty temper.” I scowled. “And someone is taking a switchblade knife to my last nerve.” I snapped. “I wonder who?” Draco said, sarcastically thoughtful. “I’ll give you a hint. He’s an idiot, he’s been pestering me since we first got sorted into the same god damned house, and he’s gotten me detention twice so far.” He blinked, playing stupid. “Harry Potter?”

Oh god I want to just throttle him… Why can’t I just strangle him..?

“No, you spoiled rotten idiot. You.” He smirked. “Watch the temper, Jazzy. Wouldn’t wanna get another detention…” Flicking another bird at me, he grinned. I snarled. “Ooh. So scary.” Draco scoffed at me. You wanna see scary? I’ll show that handsome face of yours scary…

“Shut up.” I snapped.  “How about… No.”  Another bird circled my head… Scowling, I reached up, grabbing it. It fluttered helplessly in my hands as I tore it in half, and in half again. The torn pieces of parchment fell to the table, and I stood, Draco watching me in shock. “I’m going back to the common room.” I informed Ella, who nodded once.

“…Oh, come on, Jazzy, I was just joking around.” Draco smirked. “Whatever.”

The rain pelted down as the Quiddich game continued. Several teachers had suggested the game be canceled in account of the weather, but… Bad weather had never stopped us before. I saw Draco, tight on Harry’s heels, both chasing after the snitch. For a moment, I watched in silence, unable to look away. My robes were soaking wet, not to mention my hair.

As the wind picked up, I began to agree with Professor McGonnagal. Maybe cancelling the match was better… If anyone yelled for me to duck or move, I sure as heck didn’t hear it. All I did hear was an awful ringing noise, and if it counts toward anything, I felt like I was literally being stabbed in the head.

“Sh—CRAP CRAP CRAP!” I wailed, or so it seemed to me, although I was probably whimpering – as my broom (And thus me) went flying toward the dark silhouette of the Whomping Willow. My first instinct was to jump, but that would probably kill me. Not that the Whomping Willow wouldn’t… Death by a tree sounded a lot worse, though.

However, it was too late to jump. The tip of my broom smacked the tree – the branches began to flail wildly, one of the skinnier, twiggy branches flying at my face. Ah, that’s gonna leave a mark… I thought dizzily as I fell from the broom, the flailing branches flying at me.

Everything started to fade just as a club-like branch flew toward me. Just before it came in contact with my face, everything went totally black.
