"Can you believe that guy? Did I insult his mother or something? He was fuming! Who the hell is he?"

"My guess is as good as yours, Wooyoung. Never seen him before. I thought you knew him."

"I don't. And I don't want to. He seems like an asshole. Hopefully, I never run into him again."

"Unlikely. We're not that many here, around 25 or so. I'm sorry to tell you, but you will probably have to work with him as well."

"I wasted too much time talking about him already. Let's change the subject. What's your specialty? Beside dancing of course."

"I rap, mainly. But I like writing lyrics and producing songs too. I'm an all rounder, they say." he giggled, a pink tone on his cheek. He doesn't want to brag, it's clear.

"Cool. I can't rap at all, you'll have to show me once. I can sing, but I love dancing above all."

It's true. I have a good singing voice, honest to god, but my passion is dancing. I can get lost into it, I can dance for hours without feeling any fatigue or pain, feeling the music deep inside my bones and sending bolts of adrenaline down my spine. It's my fire and my fuel, my identity. I need it as much as I need air to breathe. It's a part of me.

"I will, gladly. Now I have to go. I want to talk to one of the teachers about something. I'll tell you all about it later. Catch you at lunch?"

"Sure. See you later, hyung."

Hongjoong goes out of the door and I am alone once again. I immediately am caught by the music coming from the other side of the room. Some of the guys are dancing to it, while the others clap to the rhythm of the song. I'm curious and I'm a bit of a show off, okay, scratch that, I'm a huge exhibitionist, and I want to get myself known not because I was late this morning, but because I'm a terrific dancer. I'm going to do great. I'm going to show them who Jung Wooyoung is. And of course, they're going to love me, they all do.

"Hi guys, can I dance to the next song? I'm Wooyoung, by the way."

"Hi Wooyoung! I'm Felix. Of course you can, you're welcome."

The song starts and as soon as I get accustomed to the beat, I let myself go with the flow. People scream and whistle at me, pumping my ego as I dance even better and more enthusiastically. I am dancing with no cares in the world as I feel a strong tap on my shoulder. I turn my head.

You.

"Care for some competition?"

The annoying guy looks me right in the eyes defiantly, then starts moving with a heat and a dash I have never seen before in a dancer. While he almost exaggerates his movements, he is undeniably a really talented one, and a creative one as well. Passion exudes from his body and his eyes - oh, his eyes - are sharp and dominant. He is hypnotising, so much that I find myself slowing down in my dance to look at him as the others start clapping. He did it. He stole my spot. How did this happen? No one steals my spot. He finishes his show, a small trail of sweat down his forehead and behind his blond hair. He looks down at me with his chin high, one eyebrow furrowed and that arrogant smirk on his face.

I want to punch him.

I also want to storm out of the room, but I won't give him the satisfaction. I smile at him in reply and I clap my hands.

"Good dance. What's your name?"

"I'm San. Choi San."

"Wooyoung."

"Your dance was good too."

"Thanks."

"But, apparently, mine was better."

"Are you always this friendly, or is this a special day?"

I laugh lightly. He is cocky. "It depends on who I have before me."

"What did I do to make you hate me so much?"

"I don't hate anyone. I just don't tolerate disrespect, and you showed plentiful."

"Just leave me alone, okay?"

"No can do. I take things quite personally, unfortunately for you."

"You're nuts. I'll have you reported if you follow me."

"I'm not going to follow you. I was already here when you started dancing. You just didn't notice. And since we're in the same class, it's bound to happen often, I'm afraid. It's just some... healthy competition, Wooyoung, are you afraid of that? Are you that fragile?"

"Of course not. Compete all you want, I am going to live my life all the same. Goodbye, Choi San."

"Have a nice day, Wooyoung."

I can't but laugh at this exchange. He's so obviously afraid of me. And annoyed by, too. Good. Now we're even, boy. I think I am going to have my great share of fun with this. I am usually a good judge of character and Wooyoung looks like the perfect guy for my... taste. Too bad for him he is so not going to enjoy it.
