°Didn't you guys hear that, Aunt Susan's, recent deal that she made with the Kim Enterprise got cancelled°, the moment those words escaped my mouth, both Mom's and Dad's face had a shocked expression

Eyes as wide as ever, their mouths hanging like their jaw's can break apart and fall down on the ground and both being speechless

Not a moment later, loud sound of laughing could be hear in the entire dinning room, which eventually echoed into the whole mansion considering how silent everyone working here is

°T-That Aunt of yours-°, Mom was laughing soo hard that she couldn't even speak properly. Talking about others family members loss, especially when they show it off to the others, it's always been really fun to gossip about

After both Mom and Dad have finally calmed down, Mom finished her sentence that she wasn't able to complete before. °That Aunt of yours was showing-off the deal that she secured with the Kim Enterprise, and now look she is facing a bad Karma°

Mom wasn't completely wrong. Ever since she secured the deal, she hasn't stopped bragging about it ever since then. She possibly did deserve this kind of a Karma

°I have one as well°, Dad said. Now all the attention was on him. Me and Mom were excited to listen to what Dad had for us

°In the recent family gathering, Uncle Steven, had been bragging about his son's marks, like how he got the third rank in his class°, me and Mom were carefully listing, and nodding our heads, as a sign that we are understanding

°Well in his finals, he only managed to get sixty percent°, after Dad said that, we three burst into a fist of laughter. °Turns out that, Andrew, hasn't studied for the finals because he was confident that this time also he will manage to be in the top three°

Well... that's why we shouldn't brag about things that you achieved, it always ends with a bad Karma, leaving you crying and regretting over your past descisions

That's why I don't like to show-off how much money I have, but nevertheless I don't like showing off, I am still crying over my school life. Is it my past life, that I did bad things to others and now I am the one facing problems that I created for others?

But still, this is unfair. I didn't do anything bad in this life to others. Yet, I am facing a really bad Karma for God knows why. Life is really unfair and not soo lovely, well atleast for me

And like that I successfully managed to entangle my lovely Mother and Father into a good mood of talking. This is the time to make a move

°Mom, Dad what work do you guys do that I have to carry a bodyguard around all the time?°, I asked them while they both were busy laughing at Dad's silliness. °Oh dear-° Mom suddenly stopped inbetween her sentence

Mom and Dad, both of them's expression darkened and a strange but deadly aura started surrounding them. Both of them looked equally terrifying. This is something I never experienced before even if I was in a argument with them, they never looked this frightening

°What did you just asked us young miss, can you please repeat yourself once°, Dad said, in a dangerously calm voice. This is the moment I knew, I messed up

I mentally cursed myself for actually having some hopes that this trick would work. That's the reason why you shouldn't believe everything you see on the internet

I was frightened to the core and I could feel my forehead forming tiny drops of sweat. My hands were shivering while slightly shaking from fear and my palms were all sweaty. My throat felt as dry as the desert and not a single word was ready to leave from my tongue

°I-I d-did-didn't s-say an-anythi-anything d-dad°, I shuttered horribly and barely managed to say a proper sentence without shutter. A passed them a nervous smile. To be honest, I am scared to death in the situation I am currently in

°But I believe that I heard someone asking us 'Mom, Dad what work do you guys do that I have to carry a bodyguard around all the time', maybe I'm just hallucinating°, Mom said, more like mocking me. Mom just repeated each and every word that I said perfectly. If they have already heard what I have said, then why do they have to ask me to repeat myself?

I just stayed silent since there was nothing I can speak about. My mind was completely blank. Nothing coming inside my head and nothing going outside my of my head

I hung my head low and blankly started at the marble floor. My parents again started lecturing me while I just silently listened to them

°Why do you always ask us soo many questions about what we do, why you have a bodyguard and many more, why can't you just keep those questions to yourself and stop asking about them to us?°, Mom said

And that was it, my last amount of patience was gone and my mind was triggered. I slammed my hands on the table, causing it to shake a little and got up quickly, as the chair was pushed backwards by the force

°NO, I CAN'T KEEP THOSE QUESTIONS TO MYSELF AND I WILL NOT STOP ASKING YOU TELL I GET MY ANSWERS°, I yelled at the top of my lungs, as I felt my anger raising up each passing second. I was furious

I could see that they were taken back a little by my sudden burst out but I could care less about that at the moment

°DON'T YOU DARE RAISE YOUR VOICE AT US, WE ARE YOUR PARENTS°, this time dad yelled. °WHY CAN'T I RAISE MY VOICE AT YOU, I DON'T CARE IF YOU ARE MY PARENTS OR NOT°, I said, I was letting out all my frustration I held back from past many years and it felt like a stone had been lifted up from my heart
