"I'm part of the story, but if he doesn't want to tell you then I can't tell you anything."
Wen then apologized, as he had wanted to tell Gaipa from the beginning when they met back at Jim's truck stop. But, Alan introducing him as a friend to Gaipa, and Gaipa asking his opinion about Alan after the meeting ended left Wen unable to do anything.
"But, does it bother you?"
Gaipa hurriedly shook his head, he visit to Jim's house was not just to question Wen's past relationship with Alan.
"He hasn't contacted me for two days since I got sick. I didn't know where to ask, and I thought of you." Gaipa smiled a little. "I was just curious, he just disappeared."
"Why don't you go look for him at the bank?" Wen suggested, where would Alan go? Surely he would always be at the Bank.
That suggestion had also been his plan but he had dropped it because he was too worried about Alan's reaction to seeing him come in without any important business.
"I just wanted to ask, has he always been like this? Did you guys break up because he was like that?"
Wen nodded his head in understanding. "I already told you, he's a good guy."
"I think he's got a lot on his mind and his busy work has kept him away from you for a while," Wen continued.
"But if you're asking about our breakup. Alan and I separated because we've grown apart in many ways."
Wen then tapped Gaipa on the shoulder a few times, he could go tell Alan if he needed his help.
"No need, I'll wait."
"Have dinner here before you go home, Gaipa. Li Ming's mom is here and making dinner." Jim came out onto the porch, approaching his lover and Gaipa who had been chatting away since early this afternoon.
"All right, Uncle. Is Li Ming still at Heart's?" Gaipa asked.
"Hem, I've already called him back," Jim replied and once again invited the two to come inside.

Alan had just returned from work in the evening, just as Jean was ready with dinner. Alan looked so tired, Jean immediately asked Alan not to go straight to his room, but to sit at the dining table with them to have a glass of water.
"So busy?"
"As usual, Phi." Alan replied with a smile, his gaze then went to the side dish plate and found fried chicken there.
"Phi, did you meet him?"
"Sure, I found him easily." Jean, then remembered about the eldest mentioning Wen as Alan's Boyfriend.
"Alan, does he know about your relationship with Wen?"
"No, Phi. Why?"
"Mook, he mentioned Wen earlier." Jean looked at Alan with a guilty face, he immediately rushed to tell Alan that he had explained to Gaipa that Alan and Wen's relationship had broken up.
