A Hogwarts Tale: Love in the Time of Dark Wizards

Chapter 4

-Augustus POV-

After spending a few days in the hospital wing, As I start to recover from my injuries. However, I am still weak and needs to take things easy for a while. I am finally glad I get to wake up in the common room.

Sebastian: Hey how are you feeling?

Augustus: Doing better than last time. what do you have in there?

Sebastian: Beef, Lamb and Guinness Stew, I bought it for you in the Leakey cauldron.

Augustus: Oh Sebastian you didn't have to.

Sebastian: I have to because of me you nearly got killed, because of me I thought you were gonna-

Augustus: Sebastian, it's ok. Thank you for the soup.

As I take a munch in the stew I can't help but ask Sebastian if he had eaten yet. In his response he told me he hasn't so I decided to share my stew with him. Since I am not really a heavy eater as a matter of fact this seems a heavy breakfast to me.

-Sebastian POV-

As I munch in the stew that he shared I can't stop but look in his eyes and how he chew his food. I also can't stand the feeling that moths or butterflies are in my stomach every time I am near him.

Could I have fallen in love with him? or is it just my emotions? He is also generous and soft-spoken. I won't blame him if whole Hogwarts wants his attention, even if he is not that sociable when someone reaches out he is always there for them.

As I stays by his side, I offered him comfort and supported him during his full recovery. I help him with his schoolwork and keeps him company when he's feeling bored or restless.

As Augustus starts to regain his strength, he becomes more curious about what happened during the attack in Hogsmeade. I tell him everything I know, but there are still a lot of unanswered questions.

Augustus: Say, Sebastian why do you think those goblins and dark wizard attacked Hogsmeade?

Sebastian: Well recently in the Daily Prophet there has been reports of a goblin rebellion apparently this goblins are supported by dark wizards for power I guess? I am not really sure?

Augustus: Seems odd, perhaps we could start an investigation to see what happened

Sebastian: But you are not even well, Augustus no. I will not allow you to be hurt again, please don't.

Augustus: We can do this together Sebastian, if we do not act the school or even our colleagues will be at stake.

I agreed to help him in his investigation, hoping to find some answers, however while we were chatting two owls came in our common room. It was one from my uncle informing that Anne has gotten worse. While for Augustus his parents heard about his condition and told him to be careful next time.

-Augustus POV-

Typical of my parents to just say "be careful next time" after almost dying. I guess this is the struggle of being the youngest among the Gaunt siblings. As I finish reading my letter I looked at Sebastian he seems gloomy and sad.

Augustus: Is everything all right?

Sebastian: No, my uncle said Anne is not doing well, I am sorry I kept this from you but Anne was cursed by goblins. And that is why I am so concerned about your proposal in investigating the attack. I am worried you might end up like Anne.

Augustus: Oh Sebastian I am sorry about Anne. Is there a way to cure her?

Sebastian: No, we tried everything even from St. Mungos but there was no cure to reverse the curse. That is actually what I have been searching for in the Library, I was so busy spending time with you I forgot about Anne.
