CHAPTER ONE — SOMEWHERE IN THE SHADOWS
𝑆𝑒𝑎𝑠𝑜𝑛 𝑜𝑛𝑒: 𝐸𝑝𝑖𝑠𝑜𝑑𝑒 𝑜𝑛𝑒 𝑜𝑓 𝑇𝘦𝘦𝘯 𝘸𝘰𝘭𝘧

It's a dark night in Beacon Hills. Aurora is home alone, watching a horror movie. She loves horror movies, but that's probably why she's always scared.

After a while she hears a strange sound from downstairs. Aurora knows her parents are not coming back until tomorrow and Lydia is still with her annoying boyfriend Jackson.

She walks downstairs with her baseball bat, as her friend taught her to always carry. Aurora is on her way, looking around. She hears something again, following the sound. That's when she spots them.

"WHAT ARE YOU DOING HERE?"Aurora yells at them. Scott and Stiles get scared and hug each other. When they found out it was just Aurora, they felt embarrassed that they were so easily scared.

"Hi Aurora." Scott and Stiles say innocently, as if they weren't holding hands just moments ago. Aurora: "Guys, whats going on?"
Stiles: "You weren't answering your phone."
Aurora: "I was watching a movie."
Stiles: "What movie?"
Aurora: "A horror."
Stiles: "Why would you watch a horror movie when you're home alone?"
Scott: "STILES?"
He interrupted him and Aurora and Stiles looks confused at Scott.
Stiles: "What?"
Scott: "Tell her."
He whispers
Stiles: "Yeah, right. I forgot."
Aurora: "Tell me what?"

Stiles: "I know it's late, but you gotta hear this."
Aurora thinks it's no big deal, she's used to this sort of thing from them. They've been friends for a few years now and she already knows how they exaggerates everything.
Stiles: "I saw my dad leave 20minutes ago. Dispatch called."
Aurora looked at Scott, noticing that he was really worried,so she started to take it a little more seriously.
Stiles: "They're bringing in every officer from the Beacon Department, and even state police."
Aurora: "For what?"
Stiles: "Two joggers found a body in the woods."
Aurora: "Like a murder?"
She asked, hoping for a "no" answer.
Stiles: "Nobody know yet. Just that it was a girl, probably in her 20s."
Scott: "Hold on, if they found the body, then what are they looking for?"
Stiles: "That's the best part. They only found half."
Aurora: "BEST PART?"
Stiles: "We're going."
They think it's a joke and don't even think about how dangerous it is.
Aurora: "Going to a place where someone was killed? Specifically in the middle of the night? No, thank you."
Stiles: "Oh come on, Rora. It's okay, the police is there too. Nothing can happened."
Aurora always lets herself be persuaded.
Aurora: "Fine, but I totally hate you for this."
She looks at Stiles, who just smiles at her.
Aurora: "Both of you."
Aurora adds and looks at Scott.
Scott: "Yeah, we know."
They're on their way to Stiles's jeep.
Stiles: "Okay, let's go find a dead body."
Aurora: "You sound like a psychopath."

They arrived at the forest in Stiles's jeep.
Aurora: "It's really dark out here."
Scott: "Probably because it's about 10pm."
Aurora: "Is it? We have school tomorrow! Maybe we should go home."
Scott: "I agree, I wanted to get a good night's sleep before practice tomorrow."
Stiles keeps walking and Aurora and Scott follow him.
Stiles: "Right, beacuse sitting on the bench is such a grueling effort."
Aurora and Stiles laughs.
Scott: "No, beacuse I'm playing this year."
Aurora: "Yeah right."
She said with sarcasm.
Scott: "In fact, I'm making first line."
Stiles: "That's a spirit. Everyone should have a dream, even pathetically unrealistic one."

Aurora: "We've been searching here for about 20 minutes. Are you sure it's here Stiles?"
Stiles: "Yeah , 100% sure."
Aurora: "Scott's had to use his asthmatic thing twice now. I think we've been here long enough."
Stiles: "GET DOWN!"
Everyone crouched to the ground.
Aurora: "What happened?"
Stiles: "Look!"
He pointed at the light coming out of the woods.
Scott: "That's the police?"
Stiles: "Yes. Let's go."
He gets up and runs towards them. Scott and Aurora look at each other in confusion and quickly get up and run after him.
Aurora: "Stiles wait!"
Scott: "Stiles!"
Stiles didn't stop and that's when they lost him. Moments later, they heard the sheriff talking to him. They weren't worried about him getting arrested or anything, because his dad is the sheriff. Aurora and Scott were hiding behind a tree not far from them.

Sheriff: "So where are your usual partners in crime?"
Stiles: "Who?"
He pretends he doesn't know what the sheriff's talking about, but he knows very well. His dad looks at him and Stiles knows there's no point in denying it.
Stiles: "Scott is probably home and Aurora-"
Before he finished his sentence, Aurora walks right up to them.
Aurora: "Is right here."
She smiles innocently at the sheriff.
Aurora: "Hello mr. Stilinski."
Sheriff: "Of course."
He looks angrily at Stiles.

She thought Scott would come out too, but he didn't. Aurora thinks it's not a good idea to leave him alone in the woods, but what can she do now.
Sheriff: "Get in the car and I'll take the two of you home."
Aurora and Stiles are looking at each other, wondering what's gonna happen to Scott.
