Fate- Beta Lumity Fanfic

Chapter 1: The Start of Something New

This takes place in the Demon Realm. We will start in Amelia pov but it will switch, most of the time it will be first person, but i will use 3rd person from time to time (probably in Lumity scenes so we get the full experience)

I wake up to my alarm blaring, but the sound isn't the normal alarm noise I'm used to, it sounds like, Emira?

"YOOO, MITTENS. YOURE LATE FOR SCHOOL."

I'm instantly awake, coffee can't even compare to the speed that sentence woke me up in.

"SHIT!" I yell. I'm so loud that I wake up Amity.

"LANGUAGE" Is what I get in response. I don't listen though. I'm too busy sprinting through the house and grabbing all of my things before landing in my closet and throwing on my outfit, just a simple pair of skintight black pants with fishnet sides, a purple V-neck T-shirt, a spiked black choker, and white heeled boots.

I tie some of my hair back and sprint(again) to my staff and fly as fast as possible to my new school to get assigned to my dorm. Hexide U is a unique college by itself, buts its location made it feel magical (even by Demon Realm standards). It's built into a mountain and has a river that splits into three smaller rivers that all flow through campus. The buildings themselves are older than any witch alive and used to be a castle or something before it was (lightly) renovated and turned into a college campus. Dorms are kept in the lower section of the campus and classrooms take up the building that looks like the old castle's main hall. Thers 3 huge fields surrounding the campus. One has been turned into a bustling city, another into the athletics department, and the last one into a forest for Beast Keeping majors.

When I finally arrive, I land in the main courtyard in the front of campus and head into the admin office. I'm sprinting into the admin office to be more precise, and as i arrive at the doors though, the door swings open and knocks me onto my ass.

???: "Shit, sorry. You should really look where you're going miss."

I look up and see a tall, tan girl wearing a red beanie looking down with a mixture of concern and amusement on her face. She extents her hand as her face full commits to amusement.

Me: "Maybe you should look before you swing open doors like a sheriff in a western movie"

Assailant: "Well it's not my fault you were running like you were being chased by The Snaggleback"

I decline her hand and stand up by myself and- Jesus. I knew she was tall, but she is at least half foot taller than me. Shes wearing the aforementioned dark red beanie; although I didn't notice the bi pin on it as well as a dozen others I can't see or read, a military green windbreaker over a white and purple striped crop top, and dark grey ripped jeans. Her eyes are caramel brown, her hair is a purplish brown.

Door Bitch: "See something you like, cara bonita?"

I blush furiously, infuriated to have been caught checking out this asshole but i try to play it off.

Me: "You wish"

Really Annoying Girl: "Uh huh, sure. Well, if you're fine after attacking the door, I think I'll head now."

She picks up a skateboard from the wall next to the door and skates away smirking. That asshole. I stand there for a second fuming before I head inside. I walk up to the receptionist who points me in the direction of the Student Relations counselor.

Me: "Sorry I'm late, please tell me you have a dorm left"

Counselor: "You are cutting it very close, we only have one left, but its a double."

Me: "A double? I wanted a single, but ill take it."

Counselor: "Glad to hear! Here's your key, you're in dorm 4-20."

Me: "Thank you."

I leave the building (walking) and find the dorms sector and track down tower 4. As I walk down the corridor, I spot Boscha and some blond kid arguing.

Me: "Hey, Bosch"

Boscha: "Hey Am, this is Ca-"

Loud Blonde Kid: "HUNTER."

Hunter: "...sorry, my name is Hunter. I'm on the grudgby team, I play defense, I think im pretty good but Bitcha here disagrees."

Boscha *mock angrily*: "How dare you, I'm your future captain!"

Hunter: "Key term is future. And the future is never certain."

Boscha: "I-"

Me: "Sick burn. Bitch-a"

I run off before Boscha can hit me and somehow arrive at my dorm.

Me: "Here we go, the future starts today"

I open the door and look around, my roommate is already here obviously, but I don't mind the room I got. I look around and see that there's somethings already cooking on the stove, it smells spicy and delicious. The fridge is stocked with weird foods, like, there's an orange ball, some leaves, and a package of sand-colored tubes, to name a few. I wander back into my room and unpack. I put my clothes in the closet and hang my pictures and posters. Within an hour, my room is perfect. I'm relaxing on the couch watching a new Azura TV show that just dropped when I hear the door unlock. I pause the TV and get up and walk over to the door as it opens to be met with an all too familiar face.

Door Girl: "Oh this is too good"
