*Ciel's POV*
"Mr. Rosehearts? And I see you're with... Ah." Crowley was taken aback by what he saw.
Standing behind Riddle were the victims of the accidents that Savanaclaw orchestrated for their wicked way to achieve their goals. All of us were taken aback by their sudden appearance as we didn't think they would show up. Some were wearing bandages around their wounds while some are wearing casts. They were each from different dorms as shown by each of their dorm's uniforms. They all had serious looks on their faces, but I could tell that they were hiding their pain as they are still recovering.
"Correct. They are the victims in this incident." Riddle stated
"One step ahead like usual." I said with a smile as Riddle smiled back.
"Headmage, speaking on behalf of the victims, I have a request for you. We would like you to permit Savanaclaw House to play in the tournament despite their crimes." Trey informs him, which made the group shocked except for me.
"What...? Are you saying...you wish to forgive their crimes?" Crowley questions in surprise as Ruggie looked shocked.
"You guys..."
"No. That's the last thing we want." Jamil said in a serious tone
"If Savanaclaw is disqualified from the tournament, we'll lose our chance at revenge." Trey states with a smile.
We all stood there as we began to process what we had just heard, just in case we might have misheard or be imagining. Once we had finished processing, I watched as the others become shocked by what Trey stated. I wasn't as shocked as it was to be expected as they weren't gonna just lay down and let them get away with it. I guess they thought that they wouldn't be able to because of the pain they were in earlier. I looked towards Leona, who wasn't shocked, Ruggie and Jack, who were.
"Wh-whaaat?!" Ruggie shouts
"Revenge?!" Jack exclaims
"You guys really think that they'll just forgive that easily?" I stated with a smirk as the two looked embarrassed
"After all, fighting with magic is forbidden on campus." Riddle reminds us
"But during a Spelldrive game, it's all in the name of sport, right? It just happens to be a sport where players face off using the fullest extent of their magic." Trey stated with a smirk
'That's true, it wouldn't be breaking the rules if it's sport related.' I thought to myself as some of the students spoke out.
"Yeah. If we lose our chance at revenge, it'll gnaw at us all year!"
"We throw down the gauntlet! Duel us!"
"Plus, I dunno what happened here, but it looks like it left the Savanaclaw kids in even worse shape than we're in." Jamil informs us with a smirk
"What we're saying is: now that we know who did this, we have an opportunity to hash things out on the field instead of letting grudges fester." Trey said as Cater looks at Leona.
"You've said it yourself, Leona—fighting doesn't break school rules if it's a part of a Spelldrive match!"
"Normally, I would demand their heads. But if Trey and the others insist on settling their grudges on the field... I am willing to overlook their disregard for the rules this once." Riddle stated as I giggled
"Well you have to, after all they're not breaking the rules if it's a battle in sports." Riddle pouts as I continue giggling.
"I understand where you're coming from. However, the question is: Are these Savanaclaw students even capable of taking to the field? Mr. Kingscholar has only just regained consciousness!" Crowley remined us in concern
"Heh heh... Ha ha ha! Don't you underestimate me, Crowley. I wouldn't even need to be awake to handle this sorry pack of wounded herbivores." Leona smirks
"Wow. Now THAT is audacious." Jamil said with a smile, glad Leona isn't going to back down.
"I got no intention of bowin' to anyone. If you want my apology, come and take it." Leona informs everyone as I smirked
"There's the fighting spirit."
"Do we have your blessing, Headmage?" Trey asked for all of the victims.
We all then turns to the headmage to see what his answer is gonna be, they hoped he says yes to the requests. The victims really want to get their revenge on Savanaclaw without breaking a rule in order to do so. While Jack and Ruggie wanted to participate in the tournament despite the others wanting revenge on them. Crowley turned around to think properly and process what he was hearing by everyone. He knew that this was a losing battle, so he lets out a sigh as he turns back around.
"Dear me. Aren't I the fool for thinking you all wanted to talk about your feelings? Your petition is granted. Savanaclaw will be allowed to participate in the tournament, as originally planned. And as headmage, I very much appreciate that this will keep our little scandal under wraps as the world is watching." Crowley agreed while whispering the last part that I was able to hear.
"Wooow, nice example you're setting, Headmage. Just sweep it under the carpet." I said in a deadpanned tone as Crowley gives me a 'quiet you' look.
"*ahem*! Well, the spectators have surely grown weary of waiting for the players to appear. Do make haste." Crowley stated with a smile
With that Crowley proceeds to leave the coliseum along with the victims, leaving us here as Leona proceeds to get up. I didn't realize that he was still sitting but I guess he couldn't feel his legs yet.
"All right, let's— Urk! That hurt..." Leona groans in pain
"Easy, Leona. You're still recovering, don't push yourself." I reminded him as he nods
"Don't think you've earned my forgiveness." Ruggie said as me and Leona looks at him.
"Right, and?" Leona inquires
'What are you planning, Ruggie?' I thought to myself.
"Still... I couldn't tell you why, but... It still pains me to see that pathetic look on your face. Your usual smug, sneering grin—somehow, that suits you better. So come on, now! 'Laugh With Me!'" Ruggie said as he used his signature on Leona
"Okay, that was pretty brave of Ruggie..." I stated as me and the others watched Leona being controlled.
"Owwww! Ruggie, what are you doin'...?!" Leona questions
"Shyeheehee! I can't tell you how long I've wanted to do this!" Ruggie laughed as he continued to torment Leona.
"Knock it off! Now!" Leona demands to no avail
We were watching the two as smiles formed as Ruggie continue controlling Leona plays out with Leona telling Ruggie to stop. Grim, Deuce, and Ace were laughing their butts off as it looks like they were crying. Cater was recording the sight, probably to either post later or have it for other reasons, I'll never know. Riddle was shaking his head with a sigh while trying to hid his amusement, barely. While I was smiling at the sight along with Jack, who found this amusing with his arms crossed.
"You guys are a buncha idiots. ...Heh." Jack laughed, which I caught
"You actually laughed!" I stated as Jack looks at me in shock.
"I... I did not!" I teased him for a bit before sighing with a smile
"Well, case closed, I guess."
"Guess so. I owe you guys for this. Thanks to you, I'll be able to go out there and give 100%." Jack said while looking at me and the rest of the group.
"But on that field, we will be enemies. We will hold noting back." Riddle said with a smile
"I wouldn't have it any other way!" Jack smirked
I watched as the two were talking as I let out a couple of chuckles in the process, I felt a sense of relief and happiness. Then I see a flash of people in servant cloths playing in the snow instead of my friends and the Savanaclaw trio. My eyes widen before I shake my head to see that it was my friends and the trio again, I let out a sigh as looked up at the sky. I was surprised to see the lion, Mufasa, within the clouds. He smiled proudly at me as he gives a nod of well done before fading away, I tried to reach out to him before I heard my name being called. I noticed my friends were waiting for me by the exit, I quickly shake my head before leaving with them, wanting to see what was gonna happen next.
