*Ciel's POV*

We enter the cafeteria as we began to look for Jamil within the crowd of people, well Cater and Riddle were. I had to go get something quick to eat for both me and Grim since I wanted to avoid Grim getting fussy. Once I got back with some sandwiches, Grim immediately took on from me as Riddle scolded him before accepting one of the sandwiches from me.  Cater grabbed the other sandwich as I was eating my sandwich. Cater was looking through his phone before finding a photo of Jamil.

"Jamil has long, black hair. Let's see... Ah, there he is!" Cater stated with a smile

I looked towards where he was pointing at a boy with long black-brown hair with braids who was sitting with the boy in a sweater. I noticed that there was some bandages on his hand as they two were talking to each other. We quickly finish our sandwiches as to not be rude to them as talking with mouths full was seen as rude. We then make our way towards their table without looking suspicious but Grim went ahead first as soon as Jamil was spotted.

"You're the guy who got banged up in the kitchen yesterday, right? Mind if we chat?" Grim asked as I facepalmed

'Did he not learn anything from yesterday?'

"What is this? An inquisition?" Jamil questioned him

"Oh, hey! That's the weasel who set my rear on fire and that's the boy who helped me at orientation!" The boy in the sweater points towards me and Grim

"Grim. You need to work on your tone. Tact is important for these sorts of things. Forgive us for interrupting your breakfast." Riddle stated as I had hit Grim on the back of the head.

"Wow, the Heartslabyul housewarden and the fire-spitting weasel. Ahaha, what a fun combo!" The boy in the sweater chuckled which annoyed Grim

"I ain't a weasel! That name's Grim. And that's my minion, Ciel." Grim stated as he was rubbing his head while I glare at him.

"I'm not your minion, Grim."

"Huh! Well, I'm Kalim, Scarabia's housewarden. And that's the vice housewarden, Jamil." Kalim introduces both of them with a smile as Jamil nods.

"Uh, sure. Man, this guy throws me off." Grim stated with a sweatdrop

"I feel like I know someone with the same personality like Kalim." I stated as a young purple/magenta haired man appears in my mind.

"So, why are you asking about my accident?" Jamil asked, which cut my thoughts

"We're here at the headmage's behest." I stated with a smile

"The headmage? Huh... Well, okay. Last night, I was in the kitchen frying up some lamb rolls at Kalim's request." Jamil was explaining before being cut off

"Oh man, you guys have NO idea how amazing Jamil's lamb rolls are. You've gotta try 'em one day." Kalim stated with a smile on his face which I awkwardly smiled back.

"Maybe later when things settles down..." I suggested as Jamil nods in agreement

"Can we stay focused here, Kalim?"

"Ah, right. Sorry!" Kalim apologizes

"What happened after that?" I asked as Jamil nods and continues

"When I was chopping the ingredients, it was like my knife hand went wild and cut my other hand all on its own."

"It makes no sense! Even the dorm's head chef can attest to Jamil's legendary knife skills. We're you tired from Spelldrive practice, maybe?" Kalim questions as he too was confused by the accident

"No. Not so tired I couldn't control my hands. But at one point while I was cooking, I did feel kind of light-headed." Jamil informs us as I tilt my head

"You got dizzy?" I asked as he nods

"Most people would think that, but I know that sensation. I think I was feeling the effects of someone's signature spell." Jamil declared

"!!!" The group was surprised by this except for me

'I knew it! After all, each victim besides Trey felt that their bodies moved on their own without reason, so spell must've been the cause.'

"Oh, right! Because your signature spell is—MMMPH! Pffft! Why'd you put your hand over my mouth?!" Kalim questions Jamil with a pout

"Because we're not talking about me here. Anyway, my theory is that someone was controlling my movements with magic." Jamil concluded as we all began thinking.

"Like a puppet with strings..." I mutter to myself

"Interesting... That WOULD be a way to hurt people and have it appear like it was nothing more than the victim's own carelessness." Cater deduced

"And if it only lasted an instant, even the victim might perceive it as his own mistake. When I nearly fell down the stairs, I never felt as though I was being controlled against my will." Riddle put his input to help drive the point home.

"Well, I guess this is kind of a lead? What's our next move, guys?" Cater asked as he looks at us

"A spell that can control someone... If I could learn how to cast that, I could really clean up on bakery day!" Grim stated with a smile

'Bakery day... Wait a minute!' I began to think back to that day and what had happened between two people.

"Such small-mindedness... Truly, Grim? That's as far as your ambitions extend?" Riddle questioned before looking at me in confusion as I was muttering something.

"Man, imagine eating all the deluxe grilled cheese I wanted— Huh?" Grim froze as if he realized something

"Speaking of deluxe grilled cheese..." I trailed off as the events played in my mind.

*Flashback*

"Might you be willing to trade your deluxe grilled cheese for this very exciting hot dog bun?" We all looked at him like he was crazy, after all, what kind of trade is that?!

"Whaaat?! You must be outta your mind, dude!" Grim shouted at him

"Oh, come now. Let's not be like that. Here, have the hot dog bun. I insist." Then, Grim's paws began to hand the boy, which shocked us.

"Myah? What in the name of tuna...?! My paws are movin' on their own!"

*Flashback End*

"Looks like you realized huh, Grim?" I stated with a smirk as Grim yelled

"AAAAHHHHH!"

"!!!" The group was taken aback

'Okay... Wasn't expecting that kind of reaction.' I thought in surprise

"WHOA! Why are we screaming?!" Kalim exclaims in shock as Jamil nods in agreement

"I, Grim, Expert Detective, have solved the case! I know who's got that signature spell!" Grim stated with a smirk.

"What?" Riddle looked confused

"The culprit is... Ruggie Bucchi!" I revealed to the group as I knew Grim wouldn't say who it is right away.

"Ruggie? That lil' dude from Savanaclaw?" Cater questioned

"Yeah, based on how he was able to make Grim give up his grilled cheese and Grim stateing that he didn't do it on his own free will. And with what the other's saying they moved without any body control. I deduced that Ruggie may have used a spell on them to control their bodies like puppets to cause the accidents." I explain as they now had a serious look on their faces

"Let's track him down and see what he has to say." Riddle stated in a serious tone

"Hmmm... Looks like Ruggie's in class 2B." Cater informs us while looking at his phone.

"Thank you both for your cooperation!" Riddle said with a smile, glad to get some answers to this case.

"I'm still kinda lost here, but good luck!" Kalim said us with a smile as I look at Jamil

"I hope you get better soon." I stated as Jamil smiled

We get up from our seats so we can go and quickly confront Ruggie before he goes and cause more chaos. After all, if we don't confront him now, another student part of the Spelldrive will be injured and unable to take part in the event. We can't let that happen to another student, not again. We leave the cafeteria and quickly make our way to the classroom where Ruggie will be at currently. I was determined to stop Ruggie once and for all, but I wonder why was he doing this in the first place? I hope he can explain himself, after all...

'Your game is over, Ruggie!'
