"Did you hear that?"

I looked blankly at the Leader. He could probably tell that I hadn't been listening to a word he said.

"Yes continue," I told him and looked down at my wine glass filled with the red liquid of blood.

The Leader was telling me about his plans to take over. I'm not quite sure why because I hadn't even said I was on his side. I guess he is just assuming that I will be on his side. Honestly, could he have a bigger ego?

I looked over at the clock, he had been talking for an hour. I have barely said anything....

Now he is talking about biting humans so they would become vampires to increase the population or something stupid like that. I don't want more stupid vampires of human blood competing with me for blood. He won't be seeing me going around biting people, if he expects me to he will be disappointed.

I already have my servants that do everything for me. I don't need an army, unlike him. Fighting myths like Vampire Slayers doesn't sound like something I want to do. Vampire Slayers think they are so good, just because they were created to destroy the beautiful creature that is a vampire. Most of them are so ugly with their bright eyes. Honestly I can't stand those Ugly Eyes!

"Are you ok?" the leader rudely interrupted my thoughts.

I looked at him or rather glared "What do you mean? I'm fine."

"Your face was all scrunched up, Victoria," he told me.

I fought back the venomous string of insults that slithered into my head "I was just thinking about how disgusting the mortals are."

I'm so sick of using this polite, posh and happy voice, it's too bubbly for me. I hate bubbles, do you know what bubbles? A toad's saliva. I am not a toad!

The Leader continued on with his long speech and I sank into the chair in despair.

Please, someone drown me! I'd prefer that over listening to this dribble.

"And I would be the ruler of the new world," he stated.

I refrained from rolling my eyes, of course he would. I mean who better to rule the world than an idiot who only thinks about himself. Well I don't care for others but I do not desire to rule the world like him

Finally at midnight he left, I watched his carriage drift into the horizon with an evil grin that stretched from ear to ear.

"YES!!!" I yelled startling one of my maids. I cackled evilly.

"You're in a good mood, my lady," I could sense the fear in her voice though.

"Why of course, the Leader has finally left."

"Oh I see, you really don't like him, do you my lady?"

"No, you know I hate men, or even women, that tell me what to do."

She smiled at me "You weren't listening to him were you?"

I laughed the evillest laugh "of course I wasn't, I'm not going to do all those stupid things."

"I'm happy to know my mistress is strong."

"Well of course, I'm Valentina Ayers and no one can control me!"
