i wasn't planning on talking to you or to mason ever again, i barely speak to anyone in the cast anymore really. but i need to say this. i was telling my mom about you, about how beautiful you are and how much a good friend you are and the relationship i was happy to build with you. i've been sitting here wondering why you'd do it but i don't know, i can't even imagine a reason why'd hurt me the way you did. i really, truly, liked you. with someone i considered a brother too. for this, i don't think i can forgive you. or him.

goodbye angelica.

ANGIE HAD FINALLY left her house for more than thirty minutes for the first time in a month and some change. Jack disappearing and loving it up with some random girl and having the nerve to flaunt it on his private instagram hurt her. She didn't know why she reacted so badly, maybe it the betrayal, maybe she loved him. Woah, too far. Love? Love? Who was she kidding, she fell fast and hard. God, she needed to stop that.

She turned off her car, getting out. Heading to Chipotle, her eyes staring at her phone to confirm her order, she bumped into someone. Dropping her keys and the persons, she grabbed both, urgently handing the purse back.

"I am so sorry, Ma'am. I wasn't looking." Angie spewed apologies.

"That's quite alright, dear." The lady had a smile before looking to see who it was. Her smile dropped instantly, "Angelica Turner."

Angie's eyes widened, "Mrs. Champion. I haven't seen you since the premiere. How are you?" Angie tried to be polite but she could already feel the tears bubbling in her eyes.

"I'm disappointed in you, Angelica. You and Mason. My son didn't deserve that." She scolded. She'd pulled Angie aside, into the alleyway between the Chipotle and Pet shop. Where prying eyes and ears couldn't indulge in their conversation.

"What? What are you talking about? What did me and Mason do?" Angie was confused, trying to wrack her brain for answers.

"Don't be coy with me, Angelica. I saw the messages myself." Mrs. Champion was starting to get angry.

"What messages? Between who?" Her confusion rose even more.

"Between you and Mason." Mrs. Champion stared at her accusatorially.

"I'd like to see them. Because Ma'am, to be truthful, I don't send Mason anything but stupid tiktoks and rant and yawn and cry and dream about your son. I love your son. I fell hard and I fell fast. Ever since we locked eyes at the first table read. But I fell harder when we were at my birthday party and he came up to me and wrapped me in his arms and told me he was glad to have met me. So for you to stand there and say I hurt your son when He disappeared and had me stuck in my house for two weeks. I could barely eat, couldn't sleep, I felt, I feel like I got my heart stepped on." Angie was crying at this point, tears streaming down her face.

Melinda's features softened, seeing the poor girl cry. She could feel it in her gut that poor Angie was telling the truth.

"Oh honey." Melinda embraced her. "I'm sorry. I believe you. I'm so sorry." Angie had started full on sobbing at this point.

"We're gonna solve this. You should come over for dinner. You don't need to be eating fast food." Melinda rubbed her back, Angie shaking her head in disapproval.

"He has a girlfriend. I wouldn't wanna intrude. And I can't even go an hour without crying." Angie said, pulling out the hug to wipe her face.

"That's my fault, I introduced her to him
thinking she was a nice girl but, excuse my language, the girl is an evil witch. He's dating her cause he thinks it's what he needs to do to get over you. But that's all
over, Im gonna fix this. And Honey, that's not his girlfriend. She's delusional and is prematurely throwing that title around." Melinda was quick to trash the girl, her disdain for the girl clear.

"You can try but I'm going home to eat my Chipotle and wallow. Good night, Mrs. Champion." Angie flashed a grimace before leaving the alleyway.
