PACING NERVOUSLY, ANGIE had her hands connected, her stare averted to the floor. "Ange, It's just a dinner. It's not like Jack's gonna come across the table with his mother sitting directly next to him and strangle you." Jasmin said, draped over the edge of her bed.
"Jas," Alexis laughed. "Listen, you don't have to go."
"If anybody's toast, it's Jack for not even asking about it with you. He just blindly believed it. Did you ever find out who said that shit?" Jughead spoke up.
Somehow, Someway, the entire group chat was in her room. The last time everyone was here, it was at the party.
A phone rang and the attention drifted to its blaring noise. Liana grabbed her phone, looking at its caller ID. "I'll be right back," She speed walked out the room. Her conversation fell on deaf ears and the awkward moment was over.
"Anyways, get dressed! You have to be at the Champion residence in an hour per Melinda's request." Melissa tapped her wrist.
"Do you think he knows I'm coming? Do you think he'd want me to come?" Angie had a frown on her face.
Suddenly, their phones started blowing up.

"Put your airpods in and watch it." Jasmin slapped Mason's arm.
"Okay, okay!" Mason digged in his pocket, fishing for his airpod case and phone. Pulling them out, he slipped them in his ears and tapped the link. The video started playing and everyone started waiting in anticipation.

"The scream set was truly a dream to be on and my cast mates made it the most fun and exciting. It was just a surreal as the Avatar set, both opportunities that I am insanely grateful for." Jack had his normal grin on, answering the interviewer's question.
"I'm glad. These next few questions are from some fans and maybe myself. Since you've shot to stardom, how are you doing with being America's heartthrob of the year? As so voted at the Teen Choice Awards." The interview, Kelly, chuckled after.
"Well, Kelly, it's definitely different. I love each and everyone of my fans and It's still so unreal, like I can't believe how far I've come." Jack laughed.
"And we are all so proud." Kelly smiled. "This next one's from @iheartlandry on twitter. Jack, we're dying to know. Are you single?"
"I mean, I don't have anyone like that currently. You know, kind of alone right now but you know, it's okay." He couldn't help the smile behind his words. "I want someone though, a girlfriend would be nice." He joked.
Kelly laughed with him, scrolling to find the next question. "User @championluvr on twitter needs to know this question and she needs it answered now!" She read, laughing.
"Who's your celebrity crush?" Kelly asked, smiling as she examined his face, looking for his reaction. This was it. This was his shot. All those months he spent pining over her and he could announce it and it get spread like wildfire. What if she didn't see it? What if she didn't feel the same way? He breathed, trying to keep his composure but inside, he was panicking.
"Angie Turner." He tried to hide his smile but the interviewer kept pushing for details.
"Why? Do you think she's pretty?" the interviewer giggled. Jack looked taken aback by the question. Of course Angie was pretty, No, she was more than that. She was fucking breathtaking, was Kelly blind?
"You don't? She's gorgeous and such a talented actress." Jack retorted.
Kelly looked a little surprised by his reaction. "Yes she is! She's beautiful! Do you wanna say anything to her?"
"Ange, if you're watching, I'll see you at your party tomorrow." He clicked his tongue and did finger guns to the camera.

"The video's a month old, how come we've never seen it? We've always watched our interviews." Mason finished the video, turning his phone off and taking his AirPods out.
"He said that about me?" Her lip trembled, looking like she was about to cry.
"Oh, Honey." Jasmin went to comfort her.
"I need to get ready. I want my man back." Angie sniffled.
"Why yo ass been crying so much anyway? You acting like you not out his league." Jughead asked, scrunching her face up.
Alexis bust out into laughter, dapping Jughead up. "You so real."
