Queen of Love

Chapter 5

Lucy and Maybelle had taken a nap when someone woke them up. Nikabrik shook them up as Maybelle opened her eyes and said, "Nikabrik?" He nodded as he ran to the outside and Maybelle woke Lucy up grabbing her hand as they ran out. Maybelle looked at her brother and said, "Is everyone ok?" Peter looked at Maybelle then said, "Ask him." Caspian looked confused. "Me? You could've called it off. There was still time." Peter glared at Caspian and said, "No, there wasn't, thank to you. If you kept the plan, those soldiers would be alive right now." Caspian then looked at Maybelle as Peter walked up to her and said, "If you stayed here like me and you sister suggested they definitely would be." Peter seemed astonished and made a point to him. "You called us, remember?" Caspian sneered at Peter and said, "I wish I only called for you sister Maybelle. She's a better ruler than you." This made Peter upset for he knew Caspian and Maybelle are in love and said, "DON'T YOU DARE BRING MY SISTER INTO THIS. I'M A BETTER RULER. SHE A WEAKLING AND IS MY SIDEKICK. And your 1st mistake was thinking you could lead these people."
The words that Peter said hurt Maybelle as Lucy held her as she teared up. Caspian then yelled at Peter making him turn around and Caspian said, "I am not the one who abandoned Narnia. I am not the one who puts down your sister." Peter glared at Caspian and said, "You invaded Narnia. You have no more right to lead it than Mira's does. My sister does not belong to you. She belongs with us and I choose what she does." Caspian then walks off hearing Peter yell at him as Maybelle walked up to him putting her hand on his chest to try to calm him down. "You, him, your father... Narnia's better off without the lot of you."  Caspian backed off not wanting to hurt Maybelle but to hurt her brother. That when Edmund yelled and everyone turned around and Maybelle saw that Trumpkin was hurt.
Maybelle and Lucy ran over to Trumpkin as Maybelle stood beside Caspian watching Lucy heal Trumpkin. Caspian then grabbed Maybelle's hand pulling her into the How. Maybelle held Caspian's hand as they looked at the portrait between them and Caspian said, "You think the prophecy is meaning us?" Maybelle looked at Caspian and nodded but saw Nikabrik and left Caspian for a talk. She saw her siblings and Peter looked at her with regret and tried to walk up to her she shook her head. Running off when all the sudden she saw like at the tunnel. She saw the white queen. "Guys! Winter is here!" They all ran and defeated the white queen.
