Maybelle looked for Caspian after the fight but only to find him with his professor. Then her name popped up and Caspian spoke. "Maybelle is the queen I need if or when I become ruler. I fell in love with her at 1st sight." Maybelle smiled as she walked over to him and Caspian was in shock of this and became embarrassed. The professor left as Maybelle sat beside him as he grabbed her hand and said, "You heard that?" Maybelle nodded as they looked at each other and Maybelle leaned on his shoulder. The sun came out and Caspian looked at how the sun shined on the beautiful girls face and Maybelle looked at Caspian and they leaned in. But something caught her attention and Caspian followed and it was Miraz's army then all her siblings came out and saw as well.
Peter yelled out for a meeting and they were all together as Peter made a plan and Trumpkin said, "That's your big plan. Sending a little girl into the darkest of the forest? Alone!" Peter looked at him and said, "It's our only chance." Maybelle then spoke up and said, "And she won't be alone. Susan and I are going with her." Trumpkin was definitely Maybelle's favorite for Trumpkin cared for her and Lucy. "Nikabrik was my friend to but he lost hope. Queen Maybelle and Lucy haven't lost it and neither have I." Everyone then spoke up saying for Aslan.
Trumpkin held Lucy and Maybelle's hand and said, "Then I'm going with you." Lucy said, "No. We need you here." Peter explained to Trumpkin when Caspian said, "If I may... Mira's may be a tyrant and a murderer... but as king, he is subject to traditions... and expectations of his people. There is one is particular that may buy us some time." This made Maybelle nervous as she walked up to the 2 boys and Maybelle grabbed Peters hand saying, "Be careful on the next plan, Peter." Caspian then followed the 3 girls and got them situated with the horses.
Caspian was working on Susan and Lucy's horse 1st and said, "Destrier's mate Casanova has served me very well. You are in good hands." Lucy then smiled and said, "Or hooves." Walking over to Destrier walking over to Maybelle and said, "He will serve you well. You may want to keep the horn." Maybelle then smiled and said, "Keep it." About to get on the horse when Caspian grabbed Maybelle by the waist and kissed her and Susan quickly shielded her sister from the kiss. Maybelle was shocked but kissed him back with her hand on his neck and his hand around her waist pulling her close. Pulling away Caspian helped her onto the horse and let them ride off and Susan said, "We may have a future wedding on our hands." Maybelle blushed as they rode off."
