Queen of Love

Chapter 8

Caspian and Maybelle were riding side by side the Destrier and Casanova as the people of Telmar were cheering on their new king. Caspian held Maybelle's hand as they went together and enjoyed each others company. The next day Aslan was talking with Maybelle after having a discussion with Peter and Susan. "What have you decided your choice on whether you wanna stay here with your future king or go back with your siblings?" Maybelle saw Caspian coming down as he looked for them then looked at Aslan and said, "I do but I don't know how to tell them. I belong here in Narnia. Not in England never have." Aslan nodded when Caspian said, "They're ready for us."
They all gather by a tree and Maybelle stood beside Caspian as he spoke, "Narnia belong to the Narnian's, just as it does to man. Any Telmarine's who want to stay and live in peace are welcome to. But for any of you who wish, Aslan will return you to the home of our forefathers." Then a man spoke up and said, "It's been generations since we left Telmar." Aslan then spoke up and said, "We're not referring to Telmar. Your ancestors were seafaring brigands. Pirates run aground on an island. There they found a cave, a rare chasm that brought them here from their world. The same world as our kings and queens. It is that island we can return you. It is a good place for any who wish to make a new start."
Everyone was quiet as Caspian held Maybelle's hand but one of Miraz's men spoke up as did the wife. All 3 headed through the tree and had disappeared and made everyone upset. Everyone then wanted more as an example and Peter said, "We'll go." Lucy looked confused and said, "We will?" Peter looked at all of his siblings and said, "Come on. Our time's up. After all.. we're not really needed here anymore." As Peter gave his sword to Caspian and he said, "I will look after it until you return." But Susan said, "I'm afraid that just it. We're not coming back."
Lucy looked devastated and said, "We're not?" Peter then looked and said, "Well the 2 of you will." Caspian looked over at Maybelle who sighed. Lucy looked confused and said, "You brother and sister time has come up." Aslan then looked at Maybelle which made them look at her as well. "Maybelle?" Peter asked and Maybelle walked up to her siblings and said, "I'm not coming back to England. I belong here with Caspian." They all looked shocked and then all hugged her as they teared up. They hugged everyone and Maybelle looked at her siblings, "Take care of one another. Father and Mother will not remember me but you will." They all looked at each other as Peter said to Caspian, "Look after her." Caspian nodded as they watch the 4 leave and Maybelle stood their crying waving goodbye to her sisters and brother.
