Queen of Love

Chapter 7

They were riding in the forest when Maybelle looked up and saw the men and yelled to Susan. "They've seen us." They kept riding to Susan yelled stop and got off the horse getting Lucy onto Maybelle's horse and they both yelled to Susan. Susan then slapped the horses butt and they started to gallop there way on and didn't stop. But looked back and saw Susan giving nod as they kept going our of sight and both girls were scared for their sisters life.
Maybelle kept trying to get the horse to go faster for the man was still after them. Lucy kept yelling but both saw a creature running as they both looked at each other. Then a roar approached which made the horse yell in fright and both girls fell off the horses. But Maybelle made sure to protect Lucy as they fell. They both looked up and saw Aslan as he jumped over to protect the girls. They climbed up and saw him growling but they both looked and smiled at each other and yelled, "ASLAN!!" Running to him giving him a hug both of them giggling as they fell down.
Lucy then said, "I knew it was you. The whole time, I knew it. But Peter, Susan, and Edmund didn't believe me." Aslan then spoke up and said, "And why would that stop you from coming to me?" Maybelle then spoke up. "We were too scared to. Why wouldn't you show yourself. I saw you in my dream about Caspian by why not the others." Aslan looked at the 2 girls and said, "Things never happen the same way twice, dear one and little one." Lucy then said, "If we'd come earlier, would everyone who died.. Could I have stopped that?" Aslan looked at Lucy and said, "We can never know what would have happened, Lucy."
"But what will happen is another matter entirely." Lucy smiled and Maybelle spoke. "You mean you'll help?" Aslan nodded as they got up and Maybelle said, "I'm not as brave as I was when you met me Aslan but Lucy is." Aslan then said, "If you were any braver you'd be a lioness. Now, I think your friends have slept long enough, don't you?" Aslan roared to wake the trees up. They got to the water back and Maybelle walked up with Lucy as they saw Miraz's men. Maybelle grabbed her bow and arrow as Lucy grabbed her throwing knife that's when Aslan walked up between the 2 girls. They started to come and Maybelle stood her ground but scared when Aslan roared and they all stopped.
Th water guardian then woke up and started to destroy there colony and after that started to give there weapons away. The 4 came up and bowed before Aslan and he said, "Rise, kings and queens of Narnia. All of you." When Maybelle realized he hadn't gotten up and Caspian looked up and said, "I do not think I am ready." Aslan looked over at Maybelle as she said, "In the great words of Aslan. It's for that very reason I know you are." He stood up when Reepchipeep was founded without a tail and with both Lucy and Aslan he was cured.
