It had been months since the war had ended and Catra and Adora had finally found some peace. They had both decided that they needed a break from the stress of everyday life and what better way to do that than to go on a vacation with their friends from the Best Friend Squad?

The group had decided to go to a secluded beach on the outskirts of Bright Moon. The sand was warm, the water was crystal clear, and the sun was shining bright in the sky. Catra and Adora had never been to a beach before, so they were excited to see what all the fuss was about.

As soon as they arrived, the group ran towards the water, leaving their bags and belongings behind. Catra and Adora were hesitant at first, but they soon joined in on the fun. "Come on, Adora, don't be shy!" Glimmer called out, splashing water at her friend. Adora laughed and splashed her back, enjoying the refreshing feeling of the water on her skin. Catra looked on, a small smile on her face, as she watched Adora have fun.

They made sandcastles, and even played beach volleyball with their friends. "I don't know about this game," Catra muttered as she watched the ball fly back and forth. "You'll get the hang of it," Adora reassured her, bumping the ball towards her. Catra hit it back, surprising herself with her skill.

As the day went on, the group started to feel hungry. Adora had brought a cooler full of food, so they all sat down on the sand and enjoyed a picnic. Catra and Adora sat next to each other, enjoying each other's company as they ate. "This is amazing, Adora," Catra said, taking a bite of her sandwich. "Thanks for bringing all this food." Adora smiled at her, feeling grateful for the opportunity to spend time with Catra like this.

After lunch, the group decided to take a walk down the beach. Catra and Adora walked hand in hand, taking in the beautiful scenery around them. They talked about how much they had missed each other and how happy they were to finally be able to spend time together without any worries. "I can't believe we're actually here," Adora said, looking around at the vast expanse of sea and sand. "It's like a dream come true." Catra squeezed her hand, feeling grateful for the opportunity to experience this with Adora.

As the sun began to set, the group made their way back to their little beach house. They cooked dinner together and sat outside, watching the stars and listening to the sound of the waves crashing against the shore. Catra and Adora sat on the porch swing, cuddled up together. Catra leaned her head on Adora's shoulder, and Adora wrapped her arms around Catra's waist. "I love you," Adora whispered in Catra's ear. Catra turned her head and kissed her softly, feeling her heart swell with love and happiness.

As they made their way to bed that night, Catra and Adora held hands and whispered sweet nothings to each other. They fell asleep with smiles on their faces, knowing that they were surrounded by love and happiness.

Next Morning-----------

As they splashed around in the water, Glimmer yelled out, "Hey, Adora, you gotta show us your signature cannonball!"

Adora laughed and said, "You got it, Glimmer!" She climbed up onto a nearby rock and jumped off, causing a huge splash that soaked everyone around her.

Catra rolled her eyes but couldn't help but smile at how happy Adora looked. "You're such a dork," she said, splashing water at Adora.

Adora grinned and splashed back, "You love it."

They spent the rest of the day playing in the water, building sandcastles, and lounging on the beach. Adora and Catra found a quiet spot under a shady palm tree, and Adora reached for Catra's hand. "I'm really glad we're doing this, just the two of us," she said.

Catra leaned into Adora's side, resting her head on Adora's shoulder. "Me too. It's nice to have some time away from everything."

As the sun began to set, the group gathered around a bonfire on the beach. They roasted marshmallows, sang songs, and told stories. Adora and Catra cuddled up together, watching the flames dance and listening to the sound of the waves.

As the night grew darker, Adora stood up and took Catra's hand. "Come on, I want to show you something," she said, leading Catra away from the bonfire.

They walked down the beach, hand in hand, until they found a secluded spot away from the others. Adora stopped and turned to face Catra, taking both of her hands in hers. "Catra, I know we've been through a lot together, but I just want you to know how much you mean to me. You're the most important person in my life, and I love you more than anything."

Catra's heart swelled with emotion, and she could feel tears prickling at the corners of her eyes. "Adora, I love you too," she said, leaning in for a kiss.

Their lips met, and for a moment, it felt like nothing else existed in the world. They pulled away, both smiling from ear to ear. "This is perfect," Catra whispered, resting her forehead against Adora's.

Adora smiled and wrapped her arms around Catra's waist, holding her close. "Yeah, it is. And it's only the beginning."

Time Skip----------

On the last day of their vacation, Catra and Adora decided to take a long walk down the beach together. They walked in comfortable silence, enjoying each other's company and the sound of the waves crashing against the shore.

Suddenly, Adora stopped and turned to face Catra. "Catra, there's something I've been meaning to tell you," she said, taking Catra's hand.

Catra looked up at Adora, feeling a little nervous. "What is it?" she asked, her heart racing.

Adora took a deep breath and looked into Catra's eyes. "Catra, I love you. I have loved you for as long as I can remember, and I want to spend the rest of my life with you," she said, her voice filled with emotion.

Catra felt tears welling up in her eyes as she looked at Adora, feeling overwhelmed with emotion. "Adora, I love you too," she said, her voice barely above a whisper.

Adora's face broke out into a huge smile, and she pulled Catra into a tight embrace. They held each other tightly, feeling the weight of their love for each other.

As the sun began to set, Adora took Catra's hand and led her down to the water's edge. They stood there, watching as the sun dipped below the horizon, the sky painted with a beautiful array of oranges and pinks.

Adora turned to face Catra, taking both of her hands in hers. "Catra, I want to spend the rest of my life with you. Will you marry me?" she asked, pulling out a small box from her pocket.

Catra's eyes widened in surprise as she looked down at the ring. She felt tears streaming down her face as she looked up at Adora. "Yes, Adora. I will marry you," she said, her voice filled with love and joy.

Adora slipped the ring onto Catra's finger, and they shared a passionate kiss, their love for each other filling the air around them. As they walked back to their beach house, hand in hand, they knew that they would always have each other's love and support. They were finally able to find the peace and happiness they had been searching for, and they knew that their love would only grow stronger with each passing day.
