TOM'S POV
It's been 4 days since it happened. She isn't as bright as she was, nor is she as happy. She's planning something, but I don't know what. She doesn't talk to me anymore. She barely sleeps and doesn't eat. I wouldn't have guessed that what happened would have such a large toll on her.
"I figured it out!!" I heard my beloved's voice from behind me. It sounded...happy?
I looked at her. She was smiling, but it wasn't her normal, bubbly smile. It was a sick, devilish smile. Something I had never seen before.
"Figured out what?" I asked, warily. I didn't want to rile her up, fearing that in the state she was in she would go crazy. It made me feel dirty thinking that but I knew that it was a possibility.
"How to get my revenge." She smiled wickedly, as if she was a villain.
"On who?"
"On Theodore, of course." I widened my eyes in worry.
"What do you mean? Why would you need revenge on him?"
Her smile dropped quickly.
"Seriously? He brought the two people who fucking ruined my life straight to me, just for a cut of money. He deserves the worst."
I shook my head. This wasn't her. Of course Theo fucked up really badly, and he didn't deserve any type of kindness, but this wasn't my Jade. My Jade would never do this.
"No no this isn't you!" I exclaimed, voicing my thoughts. "This isn't the Jade I fell in love with." I ran my hands over my face. She was quiet, but then smiled. This time, it was sweeter. But I knew that it wasn't real.
"This is the me you fell in love with, Tommy." She stepped closer to me and put her hand on my cheek. It was cold. "It's just the part you were never meant to see."
"Well, I do see it. And I don't like it." My accent was thick with emotion. "This isn't you, this is some twisted version of you." I pushed her hand away from me.
"Fine." She growled. "Fine. Y'know maybe you never even loved me. Maybe you were just in love with the good, clean version of me." Hearing her say that shattered me. "But I guess it was inevitable. Because who could ever love me?"
"No. No, I do love you. I'll love you forever, you know that. But you need to stop this, you need to stop yourself!" I pleaded to her, my face practically flooded. Hers, however, was emotionless.
"Get out. And don't expect me to be here when you get back."
I stumbled back.
This isn't her. She's not in her right mind.
"Fine. I'll leave."
The words felt like poison in my mouth.
I shouldn't leave her alone. I can't.
But I did. I left, running out of the bank, rushing into my car, and trying to steady my breathing. I did the first thing that came to my mind and called Haz, who had been getting over Theo.
"Hey mate."
He could hear my heaving and was immediately worried.
"Tom? Are you ok, what happened?!"
"Jade. Jade, sh-she's gone c-crazy." I stammered, trying to explain everything.
"What do you mean?"
"She's t-trying to get revenge on T-Th-Theo. She's n-not ok, H-Haz."
"Get over here."
So I drove over to Harrison's flat. When I got there, he was standing outside his door, pacing.
