My Hero Academia: The Luminous Hero

Move in day

Kioko taped the last box of her stuff and labeled it.
"Hey Ki! All done?" Keigo asked poking his head in startling Kioko.

"Ha ha sorry didn't mean to scare you! Wow this is so weird seeing your room empty like this..... Are you ready?" Keigo asked.

"Yes I mean I'm sure the dorms are amazing and I'll be next to Mina and I'm sure I can be happy there too!" Kioko smiled.

"Ha ha that's such a you thing to say." Keigo smiles

"Gosh sometimes I wonder who the real caretaker is." Keigo sighs "you are both exhausting I mean you didn't worry about me when I left!"

" yes I did I called you every time I knew it was safe. to make sure you where safe and I would even make you lunch! Besides your supposed to be like this mysterious hero." Kioko stared at him like he lost his mind.

"I know I'm just kidding kid! You worry too much you're like a mini mom." Keigo smiles cheekily.

Just then Aki walks in the room  " hey I'm thinking about ordering take out or I can make dinner what do you two want."

"Oh no it's ok I'll make it. It's no trouble I already planned what to make tonight. besides I'm done packing!" Kioko smiles before she rushes to the kitchen.

Kioko made Aki's favourite food and Kiegos favourite dessert.  "Dinners ready!" she called happily. Everyone grabbed a plate and sat down.

" We have been told me and Mio can help you move in tomorrow. So make sure everything is ready to go." Aki spoke up grumpily.

"Oh I'm a little upset Keigo won't be helping but I know he needs to keep up his appearance and it's his way of protecting us." Kioko replies

" oh and Yes I'll double check it. Thank you both you don't have to do that." Kioko smiled.

"I know Kio that's why it's just the 3 of us tonight. Ok." Kiego said.

" hey dumb asses Mio was talking about moving in...." Aki trailed off

"Mio?" They both questioned looking at each other before they both looked back at Aki and figured it about at the same time.

"No way you finally told her!! Oh my god Aki! We are so Happy for you it's about time you told her!" They both hugged Aki excitedly as he grumpily mutters.

"Seriously you two this is nothing to get all excited over.... I didn't tell her yet she just needs a place to stay. Anyway Kioko you have a big day tomorrow you need rest we will clean up you go to sleep." Aki says as he tries to get kioko out of the room.

"no it's ok I need to clean up after myself." Kioko said as she began to do dishes

"Sleep. now. go." Aki said pushing her out of the kitchen.

*the next day after helping Kioko move in*

"Ok so I made some lunch for you both in the fridge and don't forget the garbage day has changed so keep that in mind oh and you might want to pick up something for dinner tonight. And also Thank you both for you help today!" Kioko smiled.

"No problem Kioko you have always worried so much. I can handle it I'm a grown man. Do you think I'm weak." Aki smirked before ruffling her hair.
"No not at all just... wanted to help you just like you both helped me. That's all." Kioko says as she looks at the floor.

Mio smiled at Kioko with tears in her eyes

" Ok be sure to eat ok and stop worrying so much about others and take care of yourself." Mio said crying hugging Kioko goodbye.

" I will you too ok! Bye" Kioko waved at them as they walked away. Kioko felt upset and very alone. It was going to be hard on her. And she was going to need time to get use to not having her brothers around and that scared her she was Alone. But she quickly tucked the sacredness away.

She stood there until she couldn't see them anymore. As she watched all her classmate's parents say there goodbyes she looked up at the sky and closed her eyes wondering what her parents would be like saying there good bye to her.  Just as she felt a tear roll down her cheek she quickly wiped it away.

"I can't be sad now there's so many things to be grateful for and I'm with people who care about me. And I need to unpack." She thought to herself.

"Alright!" She blurted out smacking her face.

"Woah Kioko your face!" Mina sounded worried.

"I'm going to go unpack my stuff!" Kioko said as she walked back to her dorm on the second floor and close the door as she unpacked her boxes she saw what looked like a picture frame in wrapping paper she doesn't remember putting in this box she put it to the side until she was done unpacking.

Once she was happy with how her room looked and all the packing was done she sat on her bed as she unwrapped it the present carefully there was a note.

she was surprised and stared in disbelief. Before she continued reading

•I hope this birthday is as amazing as you are full of your cute little smile! Our beautiful Kioko  I wish you the best on any adventure you go on love Mom and Dad xoxo•

It was in her mom's hand writing. She traced over the writing with her fingers.

With tears in her eyes she quickly unwrapped the picture to see it was the last family picture they ever took all together. Tear drops fall on the picture frame. She remembered she use to-beg her mother for this picture a few weeks before the day they past. But she thought it was lost she looked everywhere for it in the family home. She hugged it crying as she laid on the bed and looked at the ceiling.

"I need to thank Aki for this later." She said as She smiled crying hugging it "I'm so grateful." She drifts in to sleep.

A knock on the door wakes Kioko up from her sleep she realized she fell asleep hugging the picture she checked the time and it was 8pm.

"Kio its me, can I come in? What do you want to eat-" Mina stops as she walked in the door. "Kioko your face! Have you been crying!" 

Mina quickly rushes over and hugs her "what's wrong!?" Mina asked.

Kioko shows Mina the present she has received.

"Kio.... This is the first time I have seen you cry about your family." She hugged Kioko again.

"But don't worry your secrets is safe with me where is your makeup I know you don't like others knowing you are upset and I'll let it slide this once. But you don't need to hide how you really feel Kioko." Mina says as she looks for Kiokos makeup

"On my desk. And thank you Mina" Kioko says as she makes her way over and Mina does her makeup hiding any redness or swelling from crying.

As the girls rush down the stairs ready to make dinner they run into Eijiro and Denki. "Hey have you too eaten yet! " Kioko smiles. "No we were thinking about getting take out, how about you too." Kirishima says.

"Hey I was thinking Kioko why don't we go get something to eat together." As he wraps his arm around Kiokos shoulders.

"Sure!" Kioko smiles. Mina, Eijiro, and Denki looked stunned.

"Kioko are you sure?" Mina and Eijiro say in sync

"Yeah why wouldn't I be? I mean why wouldn't I want to go out with my friend? Oh and is it ok if Mina and Eijiro come too?" Kioko looks at them confused and the people around hers reactions.

All of them look confused and shocked at the same time. Then Mina Remembers what is happening kioko is Super oblivious to romantic gestures

"ahhh that's right Kioko! Let's go!" Mina says. Denki looks defeated by Kiokos obliviousness. While everyone else was having fun.

"Hey I heard tomorrow that we are having a special class! I wounder what it will be!" Mina says in excitement!

"I-I can't wait!" Kioko says back!
