Yamada grimaced, his taste buds flared in disgust. God, what kind of coffee was this? It was so bitter and black that Hizashi thought about spitting it out. He was new to the U.A. high school and was happy to be teaching English to the kids. He loved children, but maybe some of U.A. didn't love him as much...

"It'd be our pleasure for you to work with us, Mr. Yamada." The small man had said, Nezu. He ran U.A.

Yamada remembered his whole conversation with him and how he briefly mentioned some of Yamada's soon-to-be coworkers. He had mentioned a few but not all. Yamada thought was only intrigued by one, Shota Aizawa. The least likely to ever befriend Yamada is what Nezu had said.

Yamada sighed, It was super early, though, probably only just 7:00. School began at 8:00, and Yamada had a habit of waking up early with his other jobs. He wasn't surprised to find nobody in sight as he entered the school as a teacher for the first time, but the pre-made coffee sitting in the coffee machine made him wonder. He sipped the coffee again. It was still hot, and he hadn't re-heated it... He concluded that someone else had to be here, but he hadn't seen anything besides the coffee that even hinted at a lifeform being in the school. He had wandered around the school trying to find the staff lounge, almost getting lost it was so huge, he had deducted someone was in the building... but where would they be hiding? Yamada liked this little investigation. It made him feel like a detective. Maybe the person was in the staff lounge. Right now. Yamada slowly began to realize that this was the most likely place for anyone to be, as the coffee was still quite hot. Maybe they were still here. He felt a strangling sense of panic and an urge to leave. His eyes darted back and forth.

He cautiously turned to leave the staff lounge, almost tiptoeing, he hit something, a foot most likely, He proceeded to trip and fall, and his face smashed into the floor. Groaning his whole face stung with pain from the impact he sat up, somehow in his fall, he found himself still holding the cup of coffee perfectly upright with barely any spill. He'd saved the coffee instead of his face. He set the mug on the table closest to him, and he grumbled curse words as he stood up, rubbing his face.

"You good?" A voice spoke out of the shadows.

Yamadas face flushed as he spun around, looking for this mysterious figure who'd seen him fall embarrassingly. He froze up when he saw this dark, tall, scruffy man with long black hair that was pulled back into a loose ponytail. His eyes were sharp, harsh, and cold. They were pitch black and resembled shadows themselves. He seemed not to care for how he looked so much, though his clothes weren't ironed and were tatty. His face was unshaven, and he had stubble growing, but Yamada somehow seemed to like this. Yamada knew exactly who this was.

Yamada's automatic response came, "I, yes... Perfectly fine listener!"

"Listener?" The man scoffed, and Yamada felt his face heating up again, "What the hell do you mean?"

"Sorry, a force of habit as I'm a DJ/radio host." And yes, Yamada regretted saying the word, "slash" immediately.

"Whatever... You're the new English teacher, right?" Aizawa pointed out as he took Yamada's cup of coffee for himself, finishing it in one gulp.

"Yup, Hizashi Yamada! And you are?" Yamada grinned, raising an eyebrow. He leaned cautiously against the table, wary of this, rather odd-looking man.

"Aizawa. Aizawa Shota."
