Some days had passed as Hizashi seemed to stick to Aizawa like gum to a shoe. Yamada had collected his 50 yen bet, and Aizawa glumly paid. Yamada was very interested in Aizawa and was definitely learning about him, bit by bit.

"What do you want? It is 6:30 in the morning!" Aizawa groaned from the warmth of his sleeping bag. The zipper unzipped, revealing the bright burning sunlight.

"Oh god, zip it back up, Yamada!" Aizawa grumbled.

"No way!" Yamada smirked.

"Good night." Aizawa said blatantly.

"But Aizawaaaaa, there's a new student, and I'm not sure what to do with them." Yamada whined.

Aizawa grunted and clambered out of his sleeping bag, "Where is the student? And why wasn't I informed?"

"At the front office, follow me!" Yamada seemed all cheery suddenly, but in a mischevious way.

Yamada walked at a quick pace towards the office while Aizawa dragged his heels. It was too early for this bullshit. It always was. Besides, why the hell was a student here this early? Now that Aizawa thought about it, none of this actually made sense, yet he was compelled to see what story Yamada was twisting.

"So... What's the students name? Maybe I have heard of a new student..." Aizawa asked curiously.

"Uh- well, their name is Churros- I MEAN Chiyo!" Yamada laughed it off, and Aizawa only seemed to sink deeper into the waters of confusion.

"Ah, right through here!" Yamada grinned in a sly way, gesturing for Aizawa to go in first.

Hesitantly, Aizawa walked in and froze. Yamada smirked, prank complete! Now for the finale~ but to Yamadas' suprise, he was misinformed. Nemuri had told him that Aizawa was horribly allergic to cats and especially kittens. Now, the little ginger kitten that sat in front of Aizawa seemed to cause no harm. Yamada fumed. He almost stomped out immediately to scold Nemuri.

"DAMN Nemuri to hell! Ugh, of course she lied to me!" He cursed under his breath.

"W.. what did she say?" Aizawa looked back a little stunned by the small kitten sitting in front of him.

"She said you were allergic to cats, so I was just going to mess with you..." Yamada slapped his palm to his face.

"..I... Well..." Aizawa turned around when the kitten mewed for his attention, and all connection was lost. Aizawa sat criss cross on the floor and put his hand out for the kitten to sniff..

"What are you doing?" Yamada made a confused face.

Aizawa didn't respond he had buried half his face in the scarf as he scratched the little kittens chin. Yamada sat in front of him, cocking his head to try and get his attention when Yamadas jaw dropped.

"Thank you... either way... I actually... like cats.." Aizawa mumbled.

Yamada stared dumbfounded, Aizawa was smiling softly as he stroked the kitten, and Yamadas hands twitched. Suddenly, it seemed he was sweating, even in the generally cool temperatures of Japan. His forehead beaded with sweat, and his palms seemed to sweat too. They slid down the floor, and he didn't dare touch the cat as his hands might dampen its fur. He tried not to look at Aizawa. He focused on the cat, but he found himself stealing glances at Aizawa while they sat together with the cat.

"I.. uh, you know.. Well. Um. His name is his Churros." Yamada stuttered, his usual presenter self seemed to crumble as he glanced at Aizawas face... his smile..

"Really? Well, hello, Churros..." Aizawa almost cooed, talking to the kitten who mewed happily.

"I uh... actually adopted her from a shelter." Yamada muttered, realising his stupidity as the words tumbled from his mouth.

"You... You did? You do know you can't keep him here? And you'll have to take him home and take care of him. You'll need to buy food, and a litter tray and-" Aizawa blabbering on, unusually chatty about the serious reality that Yamada was now in care of a cat.

"Oh no... oh, I'm so sorry, Churros.." Yamada sighed, "I can't take you home. My apartment doesn't allow pets... God, I should've thought of that." Yamada felt sad. He actually thought the kitten was quite cute, and it might just make it easy for him to warm up to Aizawa.

"Well... I could take him until you sorted things out... I'm sure you can sort something with your apartment owner." Aizawa eyes never once looked up from the kitten who coddled up in his scarf.

"Well, that'd be nice of you... but I don't want to bother you with that responsibility-" Yamada began to speak, but Aizawa swiftly interrupted him.

"It's fine, my house is empty anyways, a friend would be nice." He smiled at the kitten again.

Yamada grinned wobbly, his face red and hot, and his palms sweaty. Well, maybe he was warming up to Aizawa.

"You know you're an idiot for adopting a cat to mess with me, right? You got it for the sole purpose of pranking me." Aizawa cracked his cocky grin.

"Well... I mean... ye... yeah, fair enough. I was pretty stupid. And even stupider to trust Nemuri's information." Yamada sighed.

"Well, she's trustworthy if you know when she's lying..." Aizawa added as he let his scarf dangle in front of the kitten who tried clawing it.

"Oh, whatever... I'm glad you like Churros, though.." Yamada smiled, the flush in his cheeks rising when Aizawa laughed ever so slightly at the kitten.

"Mm... he's quite the mischevious kitten... kind of like you... trying to mess with me." Aizawa finally looked up, and Yamadas eyes darted away. Somehow, in that moment, he couldn't fathom holding eye contact with Aizawa.

Yamada pursed his lips as he looked out the window of the office, "Hah... yeah.."
