Chapter 2

3rd Person POV

"Ok so are you going to tell me what happened or should I guess?" Gopal asked while munching on his 4th bag of chips looking at his friend who was pacing back and forth.

"I want to use social media" Boboiboy replied.

"Then just do it" He replied.

"Will you stop eating when I'm literally freaking out. It's like the 3rd packet of chips you're eating!" Boboiboy shouted.

"Correction it's my 4th packet of chips and why do you wanna use social media so badly? Weren't you the one saying you're too busy for all that?" He asked.

"Yea I really am busy for all that" Boboiboy replied.

"Then why do you want to be on social media so desperately?" He asked and took a bite from his burger.

"Well you see there is this girl" He replied while rubbing his nape, slightly embarrassed not knowing how to put it infront of his friend.

As soon as Gopal heard it he choked on his food. He started coughing badly and spat out the piece of food.

Boboiboy just watched him in disgust.

"Are you done now?" He asked.
"No" Gopal replied and drank some water.

"So you're telling me that you have a crush!?" Gopal asked.

"What? no! She is not my crush. I just want to talk to her" He replied.

"Why would you want to talk to someone you don't like? Boboiboy you're really sus" Gopal said while giving him the side eye.

"It's not like how you think. I just want to talk to her cause I've never gotten the chance to talk to her and this is finally my chance" He replied.

"Ok I am gonna pretend that I believe you. So who is this unlucky girl?" Gopal asked.

"Why unlucky?" He asked.

"Unlucky because she caught your eyes not mine Gopal the great" Gopal again started boasting about himself.

"I'm going to ask you this again are you done now?" He asked.

"Yup so yea who is this girl?" Gopal asked.

"Y/N" He replied.

"Wait Y/N? The y/n in our class?" Gopal asked for confirmation.

"Just how many Y/Ns you know?" He asked in annoyance.

"Quite a lot actually. I have girls swooning over me." Gopal again started boasting making him sigh.

"Third time are you done now?" He asked.

"Well Y/N and I are socially mutuals too" Gopal stated making Boboiboy's jaw drop.

The boy was too stunned to speak.

"What? How?" Boboiboy asked.

"It's normal for us to follow people we know on social media even though we might not talk properly in class" Gopal explained.

"Is it really that simple?" He asked.
"Yes!" Gopal replied and took Boboiboy's phone.

"What are you doing?" He asked.

"Making your account. What should be the username?" Gopal asked.
"Just boboiboy" He replied.

"I already tried it but you have way too many fanpages. They all will go crazy once they'll get to know that you have social media" Gopal said.

"See that's what I don't want. I am doing this just so I could talk to Y/N" Boboiboy replied.

"She really means that much to you?" Gopal asked.
"Yes I mean no I mean- just hurry up and make an account" He replied making Gopal chuckle.

"Whatever you say loverboy~"

"Ok it's done!" Gopal announced.

"Show!!" Boboiboy said excitedly and took the phone from his hand.

"What the crap! I hate this username, change it!" I threw my phone back at Gopal who was busy laughing.

"Adadathealien suits you so much" Gopal said while laughing.

"For the fourth time Gopal are you done now? I am really serious right now" Boboiboy said while folding his arms.

"Geez fine, you suggest me some" Gopal said.

"Let me think. What about Boboiboy with an extra y in the end?" He suggested.

"Already taken"

"BBB?"

"Not available"

"Boboiboyiscool"

"No you're not"

"Boboiboyelemental"

"Already taken"

"Boboiboy7"

"Already taken"

"Boboiboyawsome"

"Not available"

"Come on, what else is left? everyone has Boboiboy this Boboiboy that as their username. What will this real Boboiboy keep then? Dino cap?" Boboiboy said frustratedly.

"Oh it's available" Gopal replied.

"What?" He asked.

"Dino cap is available" He replied.

"I was kidding Gopal. Dino cap is so stupid." He said and sighed.

"It's the only option left boy take it or leave it" Gopal replied.

"Fine I'll take it!" Boboiboy said frustratedly.

"Ok your account is ready just one more thing is left" Gopal said.

"What kind of stuffs Y/N posts?" Boboiboy asked.

"Hey look here" Gopal called and as soon as he looked at him his eyes turned blind from the sudden flash.

"What was that?" Boboiboy asked while rubbing his eyes.
"Your profile picture" Gopal replied.

"What? No! I look so bad right now" He yelled.

"You don't look bad right now. You look bad all the time. I still don't know why girls fall for you and ignore a snack like me" Gopal replied making Boboiboy roll his eyes.

"Ok it's done!" Gopal announced.
"Done what?" Boboiboy asked.

"I sent a friend request to Y/N" He replied making Boboiboy's eyes go wide.

"What! No! Delete it! Give my phone back!" Boboiboy shouted.

"What's the problem?" Gopal asked.

"Everything. The username, profile picture literally everything" He replied while trying to snatch his phone from Gopal's hand but Gopal wasn't the one to give up that easily.

*Ting*

A sudden notification made them halt at their spot.

Gopal took a look at the notification and smiled.

"Y/N accepted your request!" Gopal shouted.

"What!" Boboiboy punched his face knocking him out.

But he didn't care about it all his attention was on his phone.

"She started following me too" Boboiboy said and screamed into his pillow.

"Should I text her?? What do you say Gopal? What should I do?" He asked his friend still oblivious to the fact he knocked him out a second ago.

Not receiving any reply from his friend he turned out only to find him lying on the ground.

"Come on Gopal, why are you so lazy? Don't sleep on the ground! Wake up!"

He never woke up after that.. just kidding Tok brought some food to Boboiboy's room and the smell was enough to wake him up from his deep slumber.
