I stared at the gorgeous specimen of a guy sitting in from to me and tried to grasp what I had just heard leave those delicious lips.
-
The knocking on my door wouldn't stop and even though I was nursing the world's worst hangover, I peeled the sheets off my half-naked body and slowly made my way to the door.
"Give it a rest, okay? I'm on it." I groaned and to my surprise the knocking stopped. Running a hand through my blue hair, trying to keep my head from exploding, I opened the door wide to be surprised by an unknown man. He was drop-dead gorgeous and I gulped as my eyes seemed to have mind of their own and basically devoured the man in front of him. His hair was dark, almost black and seemed to have a metallic glint like a beetle's shell; it shimmered in all the colours of the rainbow where the sun hit it. His eyes were a completely different thing all together, pitch-black, I couldn't make out where the pupil began and the iris ended. They looked dead. He was freakishly tall as well, at least a foot taller than me and I was a solid 6'3. The stranger didn't say anything, just stared at me with those dead eyes as mine roamed over his muscular body that looked sinful in that black suit he was wearing.
"May I come in?" His voice had me moaning, deep and sexy and-
"Yes, please come in." I shook my head to get rid of the dirty thoughts that ran through my mind. The guy flashed a smirk and I swear my legs turned into jelly.
"Umm- have a seat, I guess?" I shifted uncomfortably and for the first time in my life I felt like I didn't quite know what to say.
"I'm Noah by the way. Noah Birchwood."
"I know, darling. I know." He whispered and even though I know it should've been creepy all I did was swoon.
"Something's wrong with me..." I whispered, shaking my head and then snapped my eyes over to him to see if he'd heard me. He was looking g around the living room, checking out all the books on the shelves and I let out a breath. He probably didn't hear.
"D'you want anything? Water? Juice? Wine?" He turned to face me, another smirk on his pale face.
"Juice please." I raised an eye-brow but didn't say anything as I turned and got a glass of juice from the kitchen.
"I'm Alexander by the way. Alexander Mage." I glared at him, when I noticed that he had used the exact phrase I had.
"Ha ha, very funny." I handed him the glass and took a sip from mine when I noticed his frown.
"What is it?" I asked confused.
"What is this?" He asked incredulously and held the glass of juice up in my face.
"Juice..." I trailed off and now it was my turn to throw him a weird look.
"This is coke."
"Yes."
"Coke is not juice."
"What the- Yes it-" I stopped. "Oh. I guess you're not from here then." He sent me a confused look, tilting his head in question.
"I'm originally from the highlands. We call it juice. You'd probably call it soft drink or something like that."
"I see." He mused and took a sip. "I need to talk to you." His face was so serious all of a sudden, it kind of scared me.
"Well take a seat, wherever takes yer fancy." He smiled again and sat down on the couch in front of the tv.
"So~ am I going to find out why a handsome stranger, such as yourself just barges into my home like that?" Another mysterious smile and then I got to hear his voice again.
