When he ordered a freaking black coffee, I knew he was weird.

"Tall Chai Latte, please." The guy took my order and a cup. He was kind of cute and I found myself checking him out; he blushed when he noticed.

"And your name?" His voice was reduced to a shy whisper.

"Noah." I winked at him and the blush spread as he scribbled my name onto the cup. He turned away quickly and went to work. I smirked but when I turned back to Alexander, he was scowling.

"You never said this was a romantic relationship and I'm going to flirt with whomever I choose." His scowl intensified and I gulped but played it off with a roll of my eyes and flick of imaginary hair.

"Whatever, you cocky bloodsucker." This time it was him rolling his eyes. The couple next to us sent us a weird glance and I snapped at them.

"What? Never had a fight before? Or is it cause we're guys?" The girl chuckled and the guy rolled his eyes.

"No need to get so defensive. We were just wondering." The girl had a lovely voice and I sent Alexander a quick glance to see if he was checking her out but his stare was fixed on me. My heart fluttered a little and I cursed. This was not happening.

"Order for Alexander!" I let out a sigh of relief when he had to move to pick up his coffee. The girl sent me another smile and motioned for me to lean in.

"I know what you two are; if you ever need to talk, here's my number." She whispered and I stared at her in shock as she slipped me a piece of paper.

"O-order for Noah." My head whipped around when I heard the cute guy's shy stutter. Quickly I put my charming face back on and took the cup, purposely brushing his fingers in the process.

"Call me." He whispered and I smirked when I saw the scribbled digits on the cup along with his name, Seb. He was a cutie, maybe I would call him. As soon as the big, scruffy vampire was off my back.

"Let's sit." I brushed passed said vampire and sat down at one of the tables at the big windows that overlooked Princes Street and the Castle. It was one of my favourite places in Edinburgh and as I sipped my Latte, everything finally clicked in my mind. A vampire wanted me to be his blood bag. Literally.

"So you flirted enough for today?" His voice was void of all emotions and I liked to think it was him being jealous but we weren't anything, so why would he be? Then again, he seemed to be very possessive.

"Maybe." I smirked when he scowled at me. "I'm kidding. I did get his number though." A triumphant smirk on my face but he only rolled his eyes.

"We're here so that you can start trusting me." He changed the topic; smooth. "So what do you need to know?"

"Anything?" He rolled his eyes again.

"Anything." My eyes grew wide; I hadn't expected him to be this cooperative.

"Hm- okay, favourite colour?" He laughed.

"Thats gonna get you to trust me?" This time I rolled my eyes.

"No, but we're starting off easy, so I can know you before I trust you." He shook his head but answered:

"Yellow."

"Why? I was expecting black or some shit like that." he laughed again.

"Don't believe the rumours." He winked but continued. "It's the colour of the sun, warmth and happiness. I might be a vampire but the sun is an important aspect in life, even a vampire's."
