Chris POV

Me: *I hold both her hands and the right wrist has a drip on it* Babe, you're safe now. But you're hurt because I was too late... I'm sorry for not making it in time. I should've been there for you. It's my fault you're like this, I shouldn't have scolded you about your friend, I shouldn't have let you go out of the car. I'm sorry, please forgive me. I miss you and I will make Raid pay, but I want you to be there when he feels the torture. I'm sorry for everything my baby and I promise, when you get back I'll make it up. I love you

I slept there and looks like the doctor had forgotten about me. I wake up and look at Cinthia... She's sleeping but she's frowning, you can see she's having a nightmare. I kiss her forehead and her face relaxes, I chuckle and  go out to my car and drive home.

I get home and went to do my hygiene process, I finish then wear my underwear, khaki track pants and white t-shirt, and I wear my white socks with white airforce. I go downstairs, get to my car and drive to the mall. I buy flowers, chocolate and a teddy . I drive to the hospital and sign in. I get to Cinthia's ward and she's awake! Facing on the other side.

Me: babe * she turns and looks at me *
Cinthia: chris
Me: I... You're awake... I miss you
Cinthia : thanks
Me: *I fix my throat * that's cold
Cinthia : sorry *she faces the other side again *
Me: babe I know you're mad at me, but I didn't just sit my ass and chill. I was busy trying to get you back... Baby please, I tried but I failed, but I never gave up... I'm sorry for letting you go babe... I really am
Cinthia: mmh
Me: wow *I sigh* Cinthia what do you want me to do or say
Cinthia: nothing Chris, just as you did nothing whilst I was locked up, getting whipped, raped * a tear drops from her eye*
Me: hey.. Hey.. I'm sorry, nothing was coming together. I thought I had found you earlier but they had moved you... I failed multiple times and I'm sorry babe. If you could know, I never slept, I only got to sleep yesterday with you by my side, the whole four days I never slept. Planning to get you back. Right now I am looking for Raid to make him pay. Cinthia : Chris I missed you, I needed you dammit!!*she jumps for a hug and I hug her tightly, my face buried in her neck. Tears falling off my eyes, she's weeping so hard*

*Doctor walks in with files on his hands.

Doc: miss George nice to see you awake
Cinthia: thank you doc
Doc: Mr George
Me:yess sir
Doc: I can see you're happy
Me: over the moon
Doc: good. Miss George I'm here to do a few tests on you, Mr George please excuse us.
Me: what no.
Cinthia: Chris please let it be
Me: are you sure
Cinthia: yes! Chris go! *I go out and in 15 mins Doc calls me in. *
Doc: your wife will stay at least a day in here and may be discharged tomorrow. She doesn't look so weak so she'll be discharged soon enough.
Me: great...
Doc: but take it easy on her sir, she hasn't healed.
Me: jotted *I nod with a smile
Doc leaves us and I look at her for a while-with a smile. She looks down, she's shy.

Me: you're so beautiful *she blushes and looks down* I can't believe I almost lost you. I almost lost such a beauty. (my phone interrupts the moment by ringing) *call convo* got any news
Tino: we have raid
Me: lock him in the cell
Tino: with his family?
Me: alone! Don't service him! Just lock him up until I get there. You get me?
Tino: I got you boss...
Me: has his family eaten?
Tino: nope
Me: give them food and water
Tino: yes boss
Me: is that all?

Me: thanks man, I'll be there in a few minutes. *I hang up and look at my wife, eyes lock and we kiss (I missed this, these lips) I pull out and she looks down shyly)

Me: I'm rushing to the warehouse okay? I'll be back, I love you and I love you * I peck her lips*
Cinthia : Chris! I don't want to be left alone*she drops a tear* I'm scared
Chris: I don't want to leave you alone either but I have to go. Want me to call Kisha over?
Cinthia :that's better but I want you
Chris: you'll have me baby, I'm all yours when I get back, I promise *I say kissing her hands, I take my phone and call Kisha over, Kisha also stays in Pretoria * Kisha is coming, I'll be back okay?
Cinthia: okay be safe * I hug her tightly and walk out, I really feel bad for leaving her behind but I have to go. I sign out get to my car and drive to the warehouse I get there and they direct me to raid's cell*
