Hongjoong soon realized that being Wooyoung's boyfriend was a surprisingly easy affair.
The steps were simple, and apart from the comfort of finally having a constant in his ever-changing life, he had someone to pull him away from home and kiss whenever he wanted as long as they were alone.
He was also able to talk to San more often, the three hanging out almost every weekend either at their apartment or a seemingly random location in the city.
San was a hilarious person that Hongjoong quickly learned he loved to rile up.
Their bickering came easy and Wooyoung watched their every interaction with barely contained amusement, almost coughing up his beer in the middle of a bar one night when Hongjoong pinched San's ear, earning an immediate slap to the chest that made him double over the table.
The times that Yunho would tag along was when Hongjoong couldn't contain his outright happiness.
The four of them did everything together, their companionship effortless and assuring, but it was the moments he spent alone with Wooyoung that he loved the most.
The boy was breathtaking.
Hongjoong couldn't believe his luck.
He was the one who got to see how Wooyoung looked when he woke up, dazed and hair a mess, eyes squinted and skin golden against the sweeping rays of the sun and he'd always smile when he turned to find Hongjoong looking at him.
Always.
He had already memorized the different way's Wooyoung laughed, deep and rhythmic when humored and giddy, breathless and high pitched when flustered or overwhelmed by Hongjoong's abilities.
He was always so touchy with Hongjoong, wrapping an arm around his waist as they walked or draping himself around his shoulders.
He buried his face into Hongjoong's neck whenever they cuddled and touched his arms whenever he got the chance, shamelessly impressed by Hongjoong's body that he came to know better each day.
Hongjoong knew what Wooyoung thought of his body, and on the best days he did his part to show off, smiling secretly as Wooyoung watched him exercise or the one time he'd shown up at Hongjoong's house to find him dancing passionately in a corner of his room.
Lips parted and skin sweaty as he dipped his head and rolled his hips towards the mirror, barely catching Wooyoung's eye through the smooth glass before he was being pressed against the wall where Wooyoung gave him the best blow job of his life.
They were all over each other, all the time, and Hongjoong found it hard to be worried about his mother finding out or the guilt of what his father would think when everything they were doing felt like a whispered finally.
Kissing Wooyoung was a burst of adrenaline all over, searing his nerves and testing his heart whenever he'd trail a hand up to fist Wooyoung's hair and usher him closer, rolling his tongue and sighing as their hips pressed and skin burned hot between them.
