Over the coming weeks, me and my team have been mostly relaxing together. We hadn't really been on any missions so far, and things have calmed down since then. I was quite surprised at how much things had calmed down around Griffin Rock, yet I was really itching to kick some bad guys in the butt right now. But right now, it was just gone 9:03 in the morning and I was just in the front room watching TV when I let loose a slight yawn before covering my mouth in embarrassment by chuckling to myself. I was just glad that I had a home to sleep in, but I didn't like being all alone... I kept thinking about my family and Ben and his team. I just hoped that they were still keeping Earth safe as they promised me.
(Alex): I hope my family is okay. I really miss them...
But Lucario heard me and sat next to me. He seemed to be worried about me for some reason that I wasn't sure why.
(Lucario): I know how you feel Alex. Not having your family around is upsetting. Trust me, your family still loves you regardless of where you go because they'll always be there for you no matter what.
(Alex): Thanks Lucario. At least I have you and the others with me. I just wish that my family was here to help comfort me...
Just then, my Ultimatrix started beeping for an unknown reason. I lifted my arm up and looked at the Ultimatrix and saw that I had a message from Heatwave. I tapped accept and Heatwave then appeared onscreen.
(Alex): Oh, hey Heatwave! Need something?
(Heatwave): Hey Alex. I was wondering if you would accompany Whirl on her newest field assignment. We've been getting quite a lot of reports about a crashed ship somewhere.
(Alex): I don't see why not. I'll be there straight away!
The message ended and I eagerly rubbed my hands together. I was definitely gonna enjoy this mission quite a lot.
(Alex): I guess I know what I'm doing now. I've got a ship to investigate.
I then got up and looked at Lucario.
(Alex): You can come with me if you want to Lucario.
(Lucario): I would love to accompany you Alex.
(Alex): Awesome! And it's a good thing that I have a shortcut!
I then snapped my fingers and the both of us were instantly teleported to the Training Academy where Heatwave and Whirl were waiting for us.
(Heatwave): About time you showed up. You do remember the assignment, right?
(Alex): Of course I remember the assignment Heatwave! I have a very good memory; although I do tend to forget a few things. Anyway, we better get going.
Just as I was about to walk away, Heatwave stopped me by clearing his throat.
(Heatwave): Aren't you forgetting something?
(Alex): Huh? Oh yeah, I need to get suited up. One moment.
I then activated my Ultimatrix and selected Cyber before transforming into him in a bright green light!
