The following day, Oleboheng woke up and did his usual morning routine. After having breakfast, he drove his daughter to school again, before heading to The House Of Magic to film the second leg of the documentary. With the competition drawing near, he was more than dedicated to improving himself, which is why he planned to practice directly after filming, just like yesterday, leaving no room for any distractions.
When he arrived at The House, there were people outside, of course, but not as many as yesterday. The people there on that day where the ones who wanted autographs and to take pictures with him. He took a moment to sign those autographs and take those pictures before entering The House. Inside, he found Chwaita, Thabiso and Tshego had already arrived. As for Thenji and Teboho, they didn't bother to pitch.
"Good morning guys.", He greeted as soon as he walked in.
"Morning, Ole,", said Chwaita, "Ready for today?"
"You know I am!", He said.
"How did it go with practice yesterday?", Asked Thabiso.
"Ah well, the usual; improvements here and there... How about you; how did it go with the chilling yesterday?"
"I had a freaking great time, buddy! Even without you since you ditched me yesterday.", Thabiso smirked.
"Get over it, dude."
"I am over it since I had a great time by myself; trust me, buddy, you'd wish you were with me if I told you the awesome stuff I did.", he raised his eyebrows.
"Not interested!", Oleboheng laughed.
"Ole, can I please talk to you about something...", Said Chwaita, smiling nervously.
"Well, okay...", said Oleboheng, curious of what she was about to say. Chwaita grabbed her hand and pulled him outside, where they would be able to talk privately. They walked behind The House, where there was little to no human activity, and when they arrived, Chwaita took a deep breath.
"What is it that you wanted to talk about?", Asked Oleboheng.
"Oh, yes, I was wondering if you would like to hang out today after we're done filming; you know, just like the old days, I was thinking Bella Casa restaurant, but if that's okay with you?", she blinked rather quickly and held her breath, waiting for a reply.
"Why would you wanna hang out now?", Oleboheng asked, rather puzzled.
"Because it's been a while since we did. I literally can't remember the last time we..."
"No, I mean why would you want to hang out now when we're preparing for the biggest competition of our lives? We need to focus right now.", his voice was stern, making Chwaita nervous.
"That's why, you're always stressing about the competition, you need to lay low for at least once..."
"No, there's no time for that! You saw what our other competitors are capable of, there's no time to lay low, even for once; we have to prepare any moment we get, not waste it by hanging out at some restaurant!", He noticed Chwaita lower her eyes in embarrassment.
"Oh, I see... I'm sorry then.", she pursed her lips in disappointment.
"Sorry for what now?"
"For trying to waste your time..."
"No, you don't have to apologize; I understand, you just wanted to have fun, and yes, we haven't done that in quite a while, but we will do it quite soon."
"Really?", Chwaita's eyes lit up and danced with excitement.
"Yes, as soon as the competition ends.", he smiled warmly, but Chwaita's excitement seemed to diminish.
