Chapter 5 (The Secrets)

Location: Eastview university (hallway)
Time: 12:00pm (afternoon)

"ITS FINALLY LUNCHTIME"

"Do you have to scream every time we leave for class Melody" I said covering my ears " well yes, that was a boring lecture" she said while we were walking to the lunch hall.

Location: lunch hall
Time: 12:15pm (afternoon)

"You still haven't told us what the letter said Vi" Melody said curiously " it wasn't anything important Mel, all it said was that I should come and find this "Hermes" guy and-" "Hermes....the Greek god?"

........

We both burst out laughing so hard for five minutes "Yea THE Greek God "Hermes" saved "Anastasia's" life" I said laughing, " but you are Anastasia, VI" she said in a serious tone, I ignored her and kept laughing " how long will it take you to realise, that you have a country to rule over" i spat my water at her face due to that huge information she just told me, "why would I ever want to rule a whole country" I said with my mouth still dripping from the water I spat at her, she wiped her face with tissue with a serious face "I need to you think about this VI, maybe finding this "Hermes" guy could actually help you accomplish something really important in your life - Violet"

(Third person POV)

While Melody was speaking halfway, Violet suddenly got up and walked out of the lunch hall, not hearing the calls from Melody, she followed Violet and was still calling out to her, until they both walked into the university's library, that's when Melody finally caught up with Violet and saw her pick up a book that was suddenly on the floor, the book opened by itself and landed on a specific page, Melody touched Violet's shoulder as she finally regained consciousness and asked what had happened, why were they in the library and how did they get there, Melody was so confused and decided to explain it to her later, when they get home and pointed out to the book she was holding.

(End of Third person POV)

"The Olympus Goddess" Melody read we both looked at each and looked back at the book and she continued "through the years of ancient history, the reincarnation of the Olympus Goddess has been going on since the beginning of time, she created the earth, the sea, the sky  - everything you see while reading this, she created it, the Olympians where created by her and worshipped her as their god -" I cut her off and pointed at something "look isn't those the names of the people, who were reincarnated as the goddess" I said trying to read the names "Holy Moly" I heard Melody say and was trying to look for what she was looking at "what?" I questioned, she pointed at all the names "look really closely at the names, they all start with the letter A" she said in shock and we looked at each other thinking about one thing that i would regret knowing, i mouthed a 'No'  to Melody who started flicking through the the pages and landed on the last page, Melody scrolled down her index finger on the thick page and looked for a specific name, and when she landed on the bottom of the last page, Melody looked at me shocked and said "there's no way" and as I felt the pit in my stomach drop as she showed me the last person's name

"Anastasia Romanov"

Location: The House
Time: 4:30/ 16:30pm

We both ran out of the university with the book in my hands, (ofc we booked it out before leaving) and entered my car and drove off to the house, as soon as we made it to the house we were greeted by silence

(That's weird)

"MUM, YOU HOME!!!" Melody shouted, I covered my right ear and barked at her "why are you screaming!!!" "what?? I was just checking" she replied cutely, I sighed and walked in and she walked after me, I started to look around and tried to call Aunty on her phone but she wasn't answering, which was weird because the only time she doesn't answer her phone is when she's in a meeting with her boss...

which she isn't today....

"Melody I think we should-" I turned around and she was gone "Melody" I called out, silence hit me, I walked to the front door "MEL!!!"
"Yea I'm here, I'm here" I sighed in relief "where did you go?" I asked " I went to check if she was in the kitchen, also did my mother tell you she was having a meeting today" she asked me and I shook my head and started thinking....where could she be-

"Hey girls"

We both turned to the door like the speed of lightning and there she was standing at the door with....a bag of groceries....weird?

Aunty only gets the groceries, when it's a Wednesday morning.....

Today's Friday?

"Where did you go Aunty?" I asked helping with her groceries, "well i decided to take some time off work and get you guys ready for the royal dance that's happening soon and i bought some groceries for dinner later, since I'm craving for some lasagna" I looked at Melody confused, we never told her about any dance especially the one happening tomorrow and when did she like lasagna for dinner, Melody nodded at me knowing something was off.

"What dance?" I questioned with a confused tone trying to catch her off guard "what do you mean, what dance, isn't there a dance happening tomorrow, i was also asked to chaperone your dance so if you see a friendly face, I'll be there" she said trying to piece together her thoughts, me and Melody looked at each other confused just to play her off  "but I swear you girls were talking about a dance a few days ago" she said rubbing her head....

(we never did but might as well play dumb)

"ohh the royal history month dance" I said pretend to now know what she's talking about, I nudge Melody to play along "remember the dance that Aaron asked me out and I said yes -" I got cut off by the gasped, I heard from auntie " You finally accepted his proposal" she said jumping up from her toes, I looked at Melody shocked because this is the first time we've seen auntie jump up and down and celebrating at the same time, the auntie me and Mel know is that she does not and will never celebrate for something as silly as a boy asking me out even if it's Aaron, I raised my eyebrows and whispered to Mel "are you seeing what I'm seeing" she nodding and said "oh I'm seeing whatever you're seeing clearly....she's dancing" she said giving me a weird expression, I looked at her and she started moving her shoulders and giving me and o face with an excited expression  "oh no" I said disappointed that's she's actually falling for this  "oh yes" she replied and started dancing as well with her mother "like mother, like daughter" I said while smacking my forehead "I'll be going to bed then, since you two are enjoying your...enjoyment or whatever you guys are celebrating" I said not bothered and walked to the stairs and while walking up, I stop midway and looked down at my auntie again "there's something fishy going on here, that's not my auntie"

"Whoever you are, I've got my eye on you"
