[TW: Self Harm & Attempted Suicide]

3rd POV:

Izuku sat in one of the guest rooms at Hawks' hero agency. He sighed, as he thought about his life. He'd beat and even killed people. Sure they were criminals, but people nonetheless. Izuku clenched his teeth.

"Why did I do it...?" Izuku muttered. The greenette held onto a knife, as he eyes looked over his scared arms.

Izuku had scars that littered his body, head-to-toe. One may think these are all from villainy, or even the bullying he faced. While yes, most of them are from that, the green haired ex-villain looked at thee back of his arm-

'Izuku hunny? Are you ok...?'

'MOM NO DON'T-!?' Inko opened the door to see Izuku with a knife and bloody cuts on the back of his arm.

'I-Izuku...?'

The ex-villain clenched his teeth. Izuku had cried to his mom then. He growled. That was when she finally heard the truth. She had tried to go to his middle school and even the board to get the bullying to stop... it didn't.

She had tried contacting the police. They did nothing. Inko had even tried asking a local pro to step in and help. Eventually, Inko joined with equal rights protests, trying to fight for her baby's human rights. Izuku growled-

"You think you're ohhhh soooo clever, ma'am president..." The ex-villain growled. He looked at the picture on Hawks' shelf. The photo was of last year's hero poll announcement, the president of the HPSC standing there with a proud smirk, in the background.

"You got her murdered. Just like how you frame, Lady Nagant. Mom saw the truth, she tried to get others to see it. You didn't like that. You... You..."

Izuku let his rage be known as he stood and glared at the photo. If looks could kill? Anyone who met Izuku's gaze would be dead where they stood- "You bitch... You ended her because she fought against your 'PERFECT' system. Now that rat wants me to be a part of it..."

Izuku stood at his grabbed a knife. Izuku nodded his head. Izuku let out a deranged chuckle- "So I guess I don't have a choice, hun? Either rot in jail, or give into this damn system..." Izuku raised the knife to his throat. "Or do I? I could end it all here, see my mom, not give you that satisfaction. Not like you'd let a quirkless person live long as a hero anyway..."

Izuku slid the knife, but his hand was pinned to the wall. As he flew back the knife was dropped. Izuku gazed up, emotionlessly at the feather that pinned his arm. A shadow cast over his face, his emerald eyes glowing. His guardian looked terrified, Izuku just let out a small chuckle-

"So I can't die, hun?"

"Kid..."

A Few Minutes Ago...

Tokoyami decided he'd check up on the ex-villain in the room across the hall from him. Dark Shadow had commented that they might even be able to be called 'friends', if you were using that term loosely. Before Tokoyami could knock her heard a voice behind the door.

Tokoyami knew Deku muttered to himself. It was something the ex-villain did often enough. But Tokoyami had a bad feelings so he listened in-

"You got her murdered. Just like how you frame, Lady Nagant. Mom saw the truth, she tried to get others to see it. You didn't like that. You... You..." There was a small silence, before Deku continued- "You bitch... You ended her because she fought against your 'PERFECT' system. Now that rat wants me to be a part of it..."

Tokoyami could tell where this was going. As his eyes went wide, he muttered- "No... Dark Shadow kept listening. Stop him if it goes too far..." Tokoyami sent an sos to his teacher. Hawks glanced at his phone when heard the sos beeping-

"Oh no..." Hawks flew up the stairs. His sidekicks were blissfully unaware of the possible situation. Hawks saw Tokoyami point into Deku's room. As his fellow bird mouth- 'Suicide'- Hawk sent one of his feathers in.

Just in time too. Izuku saw a small cut on Deku's neck, as the greenette let out a half-hearted chuckle-

"So I can't die, hun?"

"Kid..." Hawks muttered. He never knew Deku was suicidal. But, as much as Hawks hated to admit it, it wasn't surprising. Dead mother... no family... bullied... ripped from the only people he had left (the LOV)? He already admitted to Aizawa he was suicidal.

Aizawa was smart enough to mention THAT little detail before Izuku's and Bakugou's suspension. Hawk looked at the ex-villain he adopted. The pro sighed, as he walked over to the greenette. Hawks removed his feather, as Tokoyami picked up the knife and kept it a safe distance away.

"Izuku, I-"

"The hell do you want, birdboy?" The ex-villain growled. "Just let me die. I can't be a hero. Even if I still wanted to." Izuku was yelling. "I'm a villain. I'm quirkless. I'm Deku. I'm no hero, and the way this damn system works, I. WILL. NEVER. BE. ANYTHING. ELSE!"

Izuku was crying. He hated his damn life. After everything, he can't live a fair life, he can't die at all... "I JUST WANT IT ALL TO END! GOD DAMN IT!" Hawks held onto Izuku in a tight hug, as the boy cried.

Hawks used every bit of civilian rescue training he had: Make sure the victim is safe, keep them calm, let them vent if they need to, keep them safe from the enemy, rather that be a villain or a dangerous situation, or even themselves...

Hawks had been trained to deal with suicidal people and attempted suicides before. But this was his first encounter with it. Hawks used one of his feathers to contact Aizawa. 'He knows how to deal with this better than I do.'

Aizawa was just sleeping, when he was basically stabbed in the leg by a frantic feather. Aizawa recognized it as Hawks' feather. Aizawa knew Hawks' feathers reacted to his mood, even if the bird could hide it well under that mask of his-

"Your agency?" The feather made a single that Aizawa interpreted as a yes. "Deku...?" Aizawa asked hesitantly. The feather made a more frantic yes motion. Aizawa growled- 'Great... I knew Hawks was being too lenient... kid or not he's still a villain.' The feather shock tried to single 'no'. But Aizawa had already left-

Back At Hawks' Agency...

Aizawa was shocked when Tokoyami met him in the lobby. Aizawa expected a worried or panicking Hawks going on and on about the escapee- "Where's Hawks, Tokoyami? Is he already looking for Deku...?"

"No, I'm afraid what happened was much darker than an escape..." It took a moment for Aizawa to realize what his student meant. When he final did- "FUCK!?" Aizawa was worried. 'Did Midoriya try to kill himself!? Was I too late!? DID MIDORIYA NEED MEDICAL ATTENTION!? DID MY STUDENT WITNESS A SUICIDE!?'

Aizawa figured a slit throat was the most likely possibility. A jumper? No dice they'd be outside. Deku didn't have access to any pills as far as he knew, so a slit throat was most likely. Aizawa was shocked to see Deku clutching onto Hawks.

Hawks gave a 'please help! I don't know what I'm doing' face. Aizawa just nodded, signaling to Hawks that he was doing just fine. Hawks sigh a breath of relief. Deku was holding onto Hawks like his life depended on it, just crying.

Aizawa was shocked. 'Hawks really knows how to handle this kid, doesn't he...' Aizawa felt really bad, he assumed Deku had escaped. The kid just tried to kill himself and Aizawa's first thought was Deku betrayed their trust- 'I'm so sorry kid...'

Aizawa sighed, his thought process was probably the same thought process that led to this situation. People assumed Deku was purely evil, because he was a villain. That he couldn't be trusted. 'Poor kid...'

Aizawa coughed a bit- "I think we should talk, Midoriya..."
