Chapter 7

We wiped our tears, and stare at Nara's back. What is she doing here.  "Nara.." I started, because I don't know what to do with her here with us, it's not that we don't like her.

"Why?" She glance at me. "Don't you want me to be your friend? " She looked down at her hands and smile at nowhere. There's a glint of, sadness? Why would she be sad. "Who would want to be friends with a flirt, a whore right?" She stood up, patting her butt. She turned to us, her smile is still plastered on her face.

"Why do you think we'll accept you to be our friend?" We look to our left side and saw Charlotte walking toward us. "You could be anyone betraying us, by the end of the day." They're having a staring contest. To imagine Nara, being friend with us. Hanging out with us. I think it's exciting, just think how it would be with the two of them, to conclude I and Charlotte always bicker over small things.

"I may be a bitch to everyone's eyes, but I have pride and ego. I know my worth." She spat, she crossed her arms as she scoffed. "God knows, who I am better than anybody else. So I don't care about what you were thinking about me, if you don't want me to be your friend, okay." She raised her both hands in surrendering way, with a little shrug. "Just being friendly though, I haven't had any friends since I enter second year highschool, and I just wanted to have some right now."

"I'm okay being friends with you." Dorothy announced. She smiled at her, and looked at us, waiting for respond. I don't mind either.

"Me too."

"Fine, do I have a choice?" Charlotte sighed defeated. We saw Nara clapped her hands in enthusiasm and giggle.

"Thank you. I promise, I'll be a good friend. But doesn't mean, I'll stop flirting though." Guess it's her nature to flirt with everybody she feels like, so we can't stop her with that.

"I don't care even if you flirt with the president, just don't do harmful things." Charlotte told her. I'm happy Charlotte agreed with being friends with Nara, and she doesn't seem like she don't like Nara either, so I'm assuming Nara is on her good side.

"Well, I don't do harmful things to anyone. I'm just a flirt not a bully, duh." She rolled her eyes again. Ooh how exciting, Charlotte gagged at her. Dorothy and I chuckle. "But .. you know what?" We looked at her, waiting for her to continue. "About what I've witnessed earlier, it looks like something is in between of Morgan and Seonghwa, so fine! I'll stop flirting with Seonghwa and find another one." She showed a bored look, and now it's my time to gagged at her.

I'm not over Hongjoong yet, how could she say that. My poor heart. Charlotte snort. "Oh yeah, maybe there's something with them." She give me a teasing look. I wish I could brush it off her face. Not Dorothy, doing the same thing, then now they got Nara with them.

"Oh my gosh, you're flustered Morgan!" Dorothy says in fangirling way. Can I dig my own grave now?

"Ooh." I looked at Nara, and I'm not liking her expression, it don't bring any good.

"Please if you have a naughty idea, don't even think about it Nara." She laugh at me, the first time I heard her laugh. A real laugh.  I think she's closed with Charlotte now, she's holding her arm while she's laughing. And I'm happy about it.

"Don't worry, I don't have yet. And please, let me clear something here." She lift up her sleeves. It must be serious, that she have to do that. "Believe me or not, whatever rumors you have heard about me, don't believe it. I don't sleep with anyone, I can't do that." So here we go again. My curiosity.

"What do you mean?" I need some information, I want to be enlightened.

"It's just made up, Bea and I had a fight that time, so she spread things like that before she left the university." The way she speaks and act, she doesn't sounds like she's bothered. It was like, she don't mind it at all.

"What made the two of you fought?" This time, it's Charlotte who asked. They were curious as I. We never heard about their fight, though.

She sighed as she look at us. "She dated my cousin and cheated on him. So I confronted her about it, then she threatened me she'll tell everyone at school that I'm sleeping with many guys, especially I go home late. Which is obviously a lie, because if I'm not around the school or our house, I'm at my grandparents's hospital. I worked there as a part time, since I'm still studying. I love hospital, and I love helping people. I just can't help to flirt with guys." She chuckle.

"My parents are not doctor, they were both lawyer. And I'm more into medicine than law, so I'm happy when they let me take this course to become doctor." She smiled. "I made a promised to my mom, I will never sleep with anyone even if I flirt with them 24/7, so all of the rumors are fake."

We nodded as understanding and smiled at her. "Don't worry, we won't judge you just because you're a flirt, at least you have a good soul. You like helping people." Dorothy told her, she's smiling widely. I know why, her parents are both working on a hospital too. Her father is a doctor and her mother is a head nurse and also a psychologist, her big sister is a doctor too. We've met them already. And we're so glad, when they didn't judge us for being friends with Dorothy. We are scared that time when Dorothy said, she'll introduce us to her family.

Charlotte is against with that idea, me either. Because, what if her parents will think, we made friends with her because she's rich? Thankfully they are not like that. They were even happier than us, when we meet them. They are sweet and so gentle, no wonder where Dorothy got her attitude. They were all like that.

Charlotte also smiled reassuring Nara. She linked her arm on Nara's shoulder. "Her mother is a head nurse, and her father and sister are both doctors." Charlotte informed Nara, while proudly pointing Dorothy, who looked down in embarrassment. Nara showed an amused look and giggle.

"That's great! How about the two of you?" She's still amuse, while she asked us, Charlotte. Well dang, we're the exact opposite of them. We have no parents to be proud of. "Oh sorry, my bad." Nara added, seeing how the atmosphere changed. Dorothy gave me a sympathetic look and a comforting hug. While Nara to Charlotte.

"It's okay," I assured her. "I have no parents, they are separated, and I grew up with my brother who's working overseas so I had to live on an apartment, since both my parents make a new family." I smiled, remembering my family. "My brother would send me money for my daily allowance."

"And my parents, they would rather sent me out than to live on their house." Charlotte laugh humorlessly. "I'm the eldest, they don't like me, because they said they can't stand my attitude." She shrug. I felt bad for her, she could never  show her emotion because she will be address as bad. People will call her evil because she's honest on what she felt. She have to become independent in early age. "They give me a card, and told me to find an apartment because they don't want me, they will just send money every month. It's more than enough, so I'm good."

"Don't be sad anymore!" Dorothy cheered us. She never failed to cheer us everytime we're down, we're grateful for that. "Mother said, they can be your second parents remember?" We nodded and laugh. Of course we do. "So cheer up! I'll be strong for you guys."

"You should." Nara squint her eyes. "Don't let Bea bother you, okay? If she do something or say something, tell us immediately." And then we broke into fit of laughter for absolutely nothing.

"I promise, I will." Dorothy ought.
