I woke up bit late, since my class will start at ten, giving me plenty of time to stay on my bed and imagine impossible things. Currently it's already eight in the morning, after we ate last night, I surprisingly fell asleep again not too long after I laid down. Charlotte had left to school early, I'm just sure about that.
Then I remember, the projects. I kicked the air along with a frustrated groan, getting myself up of the ground. I took my towel on where I hang it, then proceed with my mourning routine. I gathered the projects, leaving mine aside. I made sure to wrapped it up individually, and put a name on it, just in case. It's quite heavy, but bearable.
When I'm sure everything's good, I get my backpack then slip it on my arms, so now I'm ready to go. I struggle a bit carrying these three canvases, fortunately, some people I encountered in the bus help me with it.
I texted them, telling them to meet me outside the library. Now I'm here waiting for them, and I can't control my excitement to think about the book. Few more hours, then I can finally have you. To think about it, seems more exciting than entering my class today.
"Oh come on, how about a movie date?" I heard, and find the source of that voice. There, I saw Nara clung to my classmate, the one who shouted during field trip. She giggle when he whispered something, which I absolutely didn't hear. Then our eyes meet. "Morgan!" She let go of him then ran into me. Never thought we were this close. I hug her back, then laugh lowly.
We looked at Jisung, who's smiling at me. I handed him the piece and wiggle my eyebrows. I bit my lip, kinda nervous. Is what I'm doing right? I have no idea, but I guess it's not a good thing to do. But I need money so I had to do this. He took it and a satisfied smile across his face, grow wider. "Thanks, here." I took the money out of his hand, and thanked him, while grinning at Nara, who's snorting as she watched us.
"See you later." Nara winked and linked their arms again before disappearing from my sight. I stayed there, to wait for the other two, hoping they'll come soon, so I won't be late, again surely my teacher will give me a punishment if I interrupt her class for the sixth times. While waiting, on my peripheral vision, I saw Yunho running towards my direction, out of instinct, I turn my head to him and smile as he wave his hand.
"Hi Morgan!" He greeted cheerfully. He's such a sunshine. I greeted him back, and asked if he's going to his class, which he responded with, "No, not yet. I'm going to council, we have meeting for tomorrow." He then salute at me with two fingers and ran. I thinks he's running late, just like me. I'm fighting the urge of leaving these here.
Right on time when I sigh in frustration, the two came running. "Oh my goodness, we're so sorry." I told them it's fine, and did our little business. I checked my wristwatch to see, I still have 15 minutes before our class start. So I take the time, and walk in slow pace. I don't understand, but there's something on the back of my mind, telling me to enjoy the time, absorbing each view, painting it in my mind and feel the breeze as I inhaled the fresh air.
It's so relaxing. I reached my class and enter it silently. Through out the whole time in class, I manage to pay attention and take notes of our lesson. Now I'm heading to my next class. As time went by, I found myself outside the classroom after my second subject, it means. It's my lunch time. I look around, silently hoping Seonghwa would be here. Did I just missed him? I laugh on my own thoughts, about to go to take my lunch.
"Morgan!" Now that I heard his voice, I can't help but to smile then hide it again. I wave excitedly. Watching him jogging to my direction. His hair bounce, the sun making his face glow to its glory. Getting ahold of myself, I meet him midway. "Come on, let's take our lunch." He didn't even give me the chance to protest, as he pulled me with him just like the usual, walking us, to our lunch spot, on the corner of the school's field, with only few people strolling around. Some of them were there to do their activities, so they don't really mind anyone. In short, we can have peaceful space here.
"This is not good, I might get used to it." I huffed, sitting across him. He chuckle, handing me one of the lunch box.
"Doesn't matter, even if I had to bring you lunch everyday," I look at him with squint eyes, and he pinch my cheeks, as in both cheeks with little move. "I promise, so don't give me that skeptical look. That won't work on me." I giggle, as he let go of my cheeks and we eat. We also talk about nothing serious, and just to keep the atmosphere lively.
Then I remember earlier, Yunho talked about them having a meeting, so I got curious again. "Seonghwa," I called and he raised his eyebrows. I swallowed the food and wipe my mouth using the back of my hand. "What did you guys talked about on the meeting?" At first he's frowning, and few seconds he got my point.
"Oh, that one. Hannah, our auditor suggested to have a party after." A frown form in between of his eyebrows, his eyes directed at the food in front. Making me furrowed my eyebrows in confusion. Does he have a problem with that? I thought, and wait for him to continue. "I don't feel good about it, but John decided to follow the voting rule, which majority will win." He chew on his food, and sigh.
"What's wrong? Did she win...?" He weakly smiled and sadly nodded. I felt bad. I pat his shoulder, giving him a reassuring smile, hoping it would help to comfort him. "How about the teachers? Did they give it a consent?"
He gulped down the water he's drinking, and nod. "Yeah, unfortunately. Because Hannah said, it will be on her house." That explains why teachers allowed them, but neither I, approve that. I don't feel good about it too. Or maybe because, it's what Seonghwa felt. I shrugged. "They will announce that later," he giggle, which made me looked at him, baffled. Using his index finger he tap my nose then smile. "Such a nosey." I felt my cheeks burn in embarrassment, and cough. He laughs and handed me a bottle of water, that I immediately and take a swig.
"I was just asking, because I'm curious!" I whined, only to receive a hearty laugh from him. I playfully glared at him, then take a spoonful of my rice. With a mouthful, I talk that rather sound inaudible.
"Yeah sure, eat up." With the same smile still plastered on his face, he put some piece of spam on my lunch box. And I gratefully took it, using my chopsticks. I laugh along with him, and enjoy our moment together. And as expected, Seonghwa finished first, while me, just few more bites. "Do you have a cutter?" I looked at him with pointed look, mouth full as I tilted my head. "I need to cut something." He told me along with a chuckle.
"Mmm it's in the bag." He grabbed my backpack, I watch him, observing how he's going to react on my messy bag. He rummage through the mess and found it not long after, with unbothered look. On the end of cutter, was the necklace he bought. "Oh," a sheepish smile came across my face, and see him remove the necklace. Instead of throwing it back to my bag, he hold on to the pendant using the cutter he carved something on the necklace, then took out my permanent marker. He smiled then show me the pendant. In the middle, where a pearl sat on, was our initials. It was a tiny 'S.M', written in connected lines to form the letters, and then a heart on each side. The marker make it more relevant.
"Wow, you made it more creative." I complimented. He shyly smile, and return the necklace back to my backpack and continue to do his thing.
