Sitting in silence, Sasha watched as Breeana paced the floor. Jade nervously twirled her ebony hair. "What are we going to do? The dark forces are already out to get us and we only did one spell. By accident."
Sasha shook her head, "Usually when I'm this stressed, it's shopping time." She started to dig through her bag. "Where is that emergency credit card... Ah ha!"
"Wait!" Jade held out her hands and snatched it, "This is an emergency, but not that kind of emergency. Plus, didn't you go on a shopping rampage like last week?"
She squinted at her, "It's called coping Jade and if you went to therapy you would know that."
"Therapy?" Jade leaned forward, "Earth to Bunny Boo! Being a shopaholic is not exactly healthy and I'm pretty sure that isn't the coping skills they're talking about." She waved the card away from her. "I'm trying to save you from financial detriment!"
"First of all, I said I'm going to therapy. Recovery is a personal journey." She placed her hand over her heart. "Second, that's what my other emergency card is paying for. You should be proud I'm balancing my priorities." She started to open her purse again.
"You won't have a balance if you keep this up!" Jade yelled.
"Girls!" Breeana stopped in her tracks and crossed her arms. "Maybe Sasha is right." Jade looked at her in disbelief. She continued, "We should go to the mall. Not for shopping, but so you both can see my world. It's not all bad pixies I promise." She went to grab her jacket from the closet. "It seems like we all learn better from experience. Does one of you have Dylan's number? Have him meet us there."
Jade winced, "Are you sure? I don't know if I have the energy to put up with his weird antics. Well weirder than usual."
"He was under a spell that night, Jade. His so-called 'relationship' with Lina was totally fake." Sasha looked suggestively at Breeana. "But are you sure you don't want to call him?"
She blushed at the memory, "He did give me his number when he asked me to the dance." Snapping back, she continued. "We could use his insight, that's all. Now let's go, we have things to see. The mall only stays open so long." The weather seemed to have cleared outside and the sun started to slowly fall.

All three girls sat in the parking lot watching as every other car drove off clearing the parking lot. Breeana anxiously broke the silence from the backseat. "Are you sure he said he'll be here?"
"Yeah, it's dark already and the mall is almost closed." Jade sighed, "I hope your plan accounted for this Breeana or we might just be waiting like dopes in an empty parking lot."
"What else does he have to do on a Friday night?" Sasha raised her eyebrows in the rearview mirror and shut off the headlights.
Breeana shrugged weakly, "I don't know...He could be busy on a date or something."
Sasha laughed obnoxiously. "I'll let you in on a little secret. That book he claims to be filled with the phone numbers of hot dates is blank. He's lying." She reclined the driver's seat. "And showing up would be the least he owes us for saving his ass from Lina's leash."
"Lina's what?" A figure came closer to the car and the girls jumped out of their skin screaming.
Jade grabbed Sasha's arm, "Dylan! What the hell are you doing!"
"Everyone calm down." He laughed to himself, "I'm used to girls screaming when I show up, but why so high strung?" His motorcycle beeped as he put away his keys.
