I stared into the Unforgiving's eyes
As the Unforgiving towered over me
And stretched a slender hand
For me to takeThe leaves howled and the trees moaned
And the ground, felt under my feet, cold
Yet the Unforgiving kept it's hollow gaze
Pointed directly at mePeeking beyond its dark cloak
Gray bricks form a twisted path
That whispers misfortune
With every step you takeThe crows sing peril
As they perch themselves
In the branches above
Looking down at you in pity and sorrowYet you let the Unforgiving take you
Down that sickening path
Not noticing, not realizing,
That forgiveness mourned over your grave,
Crying in vain that this fate was undeserved

PuisiOriginal poems by me I'm trying to write a poetry collection, hopefully this goes somewhere, we'll see if I have the guts to get these genuinely published sometime in the future. For now, Wattpad will do.
