Announcer x GN!Reader | Embarrassing confession

You are just a normal participant with a normal personality and normal friends. You went to this game show because you were just, well, bored. You answered about one half of the questions right but answered the other half of the questions incorrectly. You thought today was gonna be a normal day too, but you never knew that someone would unexpectedly have feelings for you. It was your turn to then choose a category.

"Go on, pick a category. Any category!" The banana said.

You looked at the three questions on the board. The options were "Zoo Pals, Monumental Landmarks, and Nonsense Non Senquitors". You thought about if for a bit then picked Nonsense Non Senquitors.

"Nonsense Non Senquitors!" The Announcer exclaimed.

"Hey! Could you make me a sandwich?" The Announcer said.

You answered "no." While others answered different options. And...you were correct! You received 10 points for you answer. The Announcer seemed to be happy that you got the question correct! Maybe a bit too happy. The next round, the next contestant picked "Zoo Pals". And the Announcer simply said the title. But what happened next was quite shocking for you and the others when the Announcer accidentally had his words fumbled as he accidentally confessed his feelings for you.

"I-i love you (y/n)! I-i mean uhhhhh..." the Announcer shyly said.

Then, there was only silence. You could feel your face burning up while blushing alot. You never knew that the Announcer would actually love you. You only looked up in confusion. As he tried to break the silence by moving on.

"Um, well, uh...u-um" the Announcer said.

But he just couldn't say anything else. He was too shy and embarrassed to say anything else. Then you tried to help him out by encouraging him a bit.

"Hey uhhhh Announcer, you don't have to be embarrassed just because you accidentally fumbled your words. Just...move on to the question. Okay?" You reassured him.

"I...thank you, so much, (y/n). This is...why...I um, l-l-love...you..." the Announcer said.

Then, you said that you loved him too. He was in complete shock, he never thought that you would love him back, but he was also happy that you actually loved him. He then finally moved on to the questions. After the game show and the grand champion won their prize, everyone else left except you and the Announcer. You only looked up and smiled softly.

"I love you, Announcer. I hope to see you next episode." You said softly, and then you left.

"I...I love you too, (y/n)...I hope to see you next episode, too." He quietly replied.

And thats how a embarrassing confession got you too together.
