As I swung open the door to my cosy apartment, brimming with excitement from my exhilarating roller skating date with Victor, I couldn't wait to share the details with Phitchit.
I walked into the living room to find Phitchit already seated on the sofa, fussing over his pet hamster.
"Phitchit, you won't believe what happened tonight!" I exclaimed, my voice filled with excitement.
Phitchit's eyes widened in anticipation as he looked up at me. "What happened?" he asked eagerly.
"I went roller skating with Victor, and it was incredible! We skated, danced, and he even treated me to some food," I said, reliving the thrill of the experience.
Phitchit's face lit up with elation. "You and Victor? I remember meeting him at a party once! Oh my gosh, that's fantastic news!" he exclaimed, grinning from ear to ear.
I couldn't help but blush as I laughed. "I suppose it is pretty amazing," I replied, my heart still racing from the memory.
Phitchit let out a delighted squeal and wrapped me in a tight embrace. "I'm so happy for you, Yuuri!" he exclaimed.
As Phitchit released me from his hug, I took a seat next to him on the red leather sofa and continued to recount the details of my date with Victor. I described how the music was so upbeat and lively, how we laughed and chatted as we skated, and how Victor was an excellent dancer.
Phitchit listened attentively, interjecting with questions and comments, clearly fascinated by my story. As I finished my tale, he grinned at me mischievously.
"So, when are you going to see him again?" he asked.
I shrugged, feeling a flutter in my chest. "I don't know, but I hope it's soon," I replied, unable to keep the smile off my face.
Phitchit nodded knowingly. "Well, let's make sure you're ready for your next date, shall we?" he said, jumping up from the sofa and pulling me along with him.
As he led me towards my bedroom, I couldn't help but feel grateful for my best friend's support and enthusiasm.
Phitchit opened the door to my closet and gasped in horror. "Yuuri, this won't do at all. We need to go shopping tomorrow," he declared, shaking his head in disapproval.
I mean I have a few turtlenecks and a jacket and two pairs of jeans but it's all I really need isn't it?
I looked at him in confusion. "What's wrong with my clothes?" I asked, suddenly self-conscious.
Phitchit pulled out a turtleneck sweater and a pair of faded jeans. "These are fine, but you need more variety. You can't wear the same things all the time, especially not on dates with Victor," he said firmly.
I sighed, realizing he was right. "Okay, let's go shopping tomorrow," I agreed, feeling a mix of dread and motivation at the prospect.
Phitchit grinned, clearly delighted at the idea of a shopping spree. "Great, I'll make a list of everything we need," he said, pulling out his red pocket notepad and a pen.
I couldn't help but smile at his eagerness, feeling grateful to have such a supportive friend. "Thanks, Phitchit," I said, giving him a thankful hug.
"No problem, Yuuri. We'll make you look like a million bucks for your next date," he replied, grinning.
As we sat in my flat, relishing the warmth of the fire crackling in the fireplace in the living room, Phitchit and I discussed the events of the evening in great detail. We laughed and joked about my awkward moments, and Phitchit playfully teased me about my skating skills.
The atmosphere was comfortable and relaxed, and I felt at ease knowing that I had someone to share my experiences with. I cherished the moments we spent together, and I couldn't help but think how lucky I was to have such a supportive best friend like Phitchit.
As the night drew on, my eyes grew heavy, and I began to drift off to sleep. My mind was filled with thoughts of Victor, and I wondered where our roller skating date would take us next.
Would we go on more dates, or would this be the end of our brief encounter? I couldn't help but feel excited about the possibilities, sure at first the guy was just attractive but he seems like he has a truly kind personality, despite having a rebellious side.
As I drifted off to sleep, I couldn't help but feel grateful for having such an incredible friend like Phitchit by my side, and I knew that no matter what happened, I would always have him there to support me.
The next day, Phitchit and I headed to the mall, armed with his list of essential items. We browsed through various stores, trying on clothes and debating on which items to purchase.
As we walked past a store with sleek leather jackets in the window display, Phitchit's eyes lit up. "Yuuri, you need a jacket like that!" he exclaimed, pointing at a yellow leather jacket.
I hesitated, feeling unsure about wearing something so bold. "I don't know, Phitchit. It seems a little too...crazy for me," I said uncertainly.
Phitchit rolled his eyes. "Trust me, Yuuri. You'll look amazing in it," he said, already making his way into the store.
I followed him hesitantly, trying on the jacket and looking at myself in the mirror. To my surprise, I actually liked how it looked on me. In contrast to how self conscious I usually am, this jacket made me feel really cool. The jacket was stylish and modern, and it made me feel confident.
Phitchit beamed at me as I emerged from the changing room. "Yuuri, you look amazing! Victor won't be able to take his eyes off you," he said, clapping his hands in excitement.
I smiled, feeling content from Phitchit's support and encouragement. "Thanks, Phitchit. I think you might be right," I replied, feeling butterflies, thinking about my next date with Victor.
As we continued shopping, I found myself drawn to bolder, more daring clothing choices. I picked out a few colorful shirts and a pair of trendy trainers, feeling more confident with each purchase.
By the time we left the shopping center, my arms were full of shopping bags, and I felt like a new person. I was excited to see what Victor would think of my new look, and I couldn't wait to see where our next date would take us.
As we walked out of the place, Phitchit put his arm around my shoulder. "You know, Yuuri, I'm really proud of you. You've come so far since we first met, and it's been amazing to watch you grow," he said, smiling at me.
When we initially crossed paths, I was extremely timid and lacked confidence. My life felt like it was spiraling downwards, but I'm grateful to have had Phitchit's support. In the past, I used to avoid eating in fear of gaining weight. However, it's no surprise that now I have become quite a food fanatic.
I felt a lump form in my throat as I looked at him. "Thanks, Phitchit. I couldn't have done it without you," I replied, feeling slightly sad at the memories.
As we walked towards my car, I couldn't help but feel excited about what the future held. With my new look and newfound confidence, I was ready to take on the world - and I knew that with Phitchit by my side, there was nothing I couldn't achieve.
Even if things didn't go well with Victor I still had my bestest bud by my side. That's all that mattered
But despite this, I couldn't help but feel giddy for my next date with Victor, sure that I would look and feel my best.
