Young ma's POV

"Young M.A?" The cashier asks.

I put my finger on my hand as a sign that she should not say it out loud .

"Yes , how are you?" I ask putting my items.

She just keeps on staring at me in awe and she even checks the items whilst looking at me when she's done I pay her and leave expecting to find kehlani waiting there but she wasn't. I  walk down thinking maybe she was tired of standing, but still no sign of her. I decided to go to her apartment and I continue to knock but still nothing I decide to go in and such it but there's no sign of her.

I could call her but she has my phone. So I decided to go back to the store and down a block I saw my phone and  her's and even her purse.

Something is definitely wrong.

"Hey, I need you to find Chad Leftwhich for me it's urgent" I say to my friend Marci.

"I knew there was a fan girl in you somewhere" he says getting up from the couch for a hug in which obviously I decline.

"Marci please it's urgent" he looks at me but before he can respond a couple of guys walk in .

"Ay look who decided to grace us with her presence" my best friend JC says hugging me tightly.

"Lover girl" CJ says , CJ is JCs twin and they are both my best friends.

"Guys I think something happened to kehlani" I say.

"Something was meant to happen to her I mean that bitch been jumping around taking shit on the internet she good as dead your bitch-" Jessy spoke  and in that minute I couldn't control myself I punched him as hard as I could and he stumbled back , before he could hit the ground I caught him with by his  collar .

"My what! My what!?" I exclaimed anger rushing through my veins.

"Your friend" he says, in his eyes I could see he was hoping I would not hit him again. CJ holds my arm, requesting I let go of Jessey.

I take one more look at Jessey and release him causing him to stumble down, "I want that location now" I say  to Marci leaving no room for argument.

"Katorah!" I hear my father call out to me.

I hesitate to look back because I'm more focused on finding kehlani right now but I do so anyway.

"Yes dad?" I ask.

"We need to talk" he says.

"Dad right now is not a good time , we'll do it some other time" I say attempting to walk away he speaks again.

"No katorah, you are ruining the family name!" He yells.

This boy.

"How so father?" I ask .

"You entertaining this stupid celebrity nonsense is ruing the image we Marrero family portray" he says, it's all about the image HE portrays.

"Dad it's not about anyone but you! I was helping out a friend!" I tell him.

"A friend!?" He pauses to see if I'm being serious " she is nothing but trouble! Ever since she came into your life, she came with this nonsense and now -" he gets cut of by the notification I get on my phone, I immediately check it and see that it's from Marci and it's the location.

"I chose who gets to ruin my life" I say and start to walk away and I can hear him yelling but I pay no attention I continue to walk.

I get in my car and start driving with speed. When I reach there I load my gun and place it in my pants .

'what the fuck are you doing to me kehlani?'

I reach the park and see him pretending to read a newspaper and I also take note of all his bodyguards that are pretending to do something.

You can't fool me.

I approach him and sit next to him , on the bench. I clear my throat to get his attention, although I know very well he acknowledges my presence and he was actually waiting for me.

He still doesn't pay attention to me which angers me and I grab the news paper out of his hands and throw it down

"Jeez M.A you want my attention that much?" He asks with a cocky laugh.

"I'm not here to play with you Chad" I say seriously, but at the same time trying to see if kehlani is anywhere around.

"Mm... looks like you lost something huh" he says obviously refering to kehlani.

"Chad! Where is she?" I ask impatiently.

He whispers into my ear and my heart start to clench. He gets up and walks away whistling a nursery rhyme, and he's bodyguards follow him.
