" SHIT." Lo'ak mumbled underneath his breath. His older brother was the last person he wanted to see tonight.
" What were you doing out there ? "
Neteyam scolded him, subconsciously looking to see if he had any scars on his body.
" Everyone is worried about you."
" I'm fine." Lo'ak shrugged him off. " I just needed some time for myself."
Neteyam eyed his younger brother, it was obvious there was something he wasn't telling him.
" I wanted to talk to you." He brought up making the boy uneasy.
" What is it ? "
" I didn't like the way you treated [Y/n] this morning. Did anything happen ? "
Neteyam questioned making Lo'ak instinctively roll his eyes.
" Bro, she didn't do anything okay ? I was already planning on apologizing to her later." The young na'vi replied with annoyance.
" Lo'ak- "
" Why do you even care so much ? "
" Bro, she's my girlfriend."
Neteyam disclosed as Lo'ak's eyes grew wide.Vocals swallowing back into his throat from his brother's sudden reveal.
It felt like his heart got poked by a hundred needles all at once and he didn't like it one bit.
" We've been together for a week now, I was planning on telling you but you left." Neteyam explained unknowing of the damage it was causing him.
" Oh. Congrats."
Lo'ak responded.
He turned to leave when Neteyam roughly grabbed him by the arm and held him back.
" You're going to tell me what is going on with you, now." Neteyam ordered as he stared into his brother's eyes.
Lo'ak scoffed before tugging his arm away from his grasp.
" I'm not telling you shit." He replied with a sharp glare in his eyes.
Neteyam almost didn't recognize his brother anymore.
Why was he acting like this ?
" Nete' ? Lo'ak ? "
A feminine voice cut in making both brothers snap their heads towards her.
" [Y/n]..."
Lo'ak uttered. The hard gaze he once had softening as soon as he laid his eyes on her.
" Where were you, Lo' ? " [Y/n] asked bringing her attention to the youngest brother.
" I was so worried about you ! "
She exclaimed as she made her way between the two boys.
" He was In the woods apparently."
The older na'vi answered clutching his girlfriend by the waist.
For a certain reason, this interaction triggered something in Lo'ak. His jaw tightening as he gazed at the hand on her hips.
Was he jealous ?
He removed his lingering gaze and locked eyes with his brother who was already staring at him.
Lo'ak smirked as his brother's eyes never left his, his face already telling him what he was thinking.
