[Y/N] AND NETEYAM were cuddling each other as they laid on the soft grass, spacious with glowing flowers and plants around it. Far enough into the forest where no one would see or hear them.
However, this whole sneaking around thing they would do was forbidden.
Neteyam was already promised to someone else. The Sully's had even made plans to make tsaheylu and officially tie their families together.
But over the years [Y/n] and Neteyam caught on unbreakable feelings for each other.
[Y/n] wasn't up for the challenge of getting caught but they just couldn’t stay away from one other. She even felt bad for her boyfriend's future mate- maybe a little ashamed.
In those cases Neteyam didn't have any regrets- except for not speaking about it beforehand with his parents.
But he was truly happy that he got to find out who his one true love is.

Neteyam was about to reply when he suddenly got interrupted by a few voices from afar.
" Who's there ? " [Y/n] panicked.
" It's my father's soldiers. I think they're looking for me." He clenches his jaw in annoyance.
" Shit ! We have to go." [Y/n] rapidly stood up and tugged on Neteyam's arm, forcing him on his feet.
" What are you doing ? Get up." [Y/n] whispered-shouted as the male didn't budge.
" I don't want to."
" What do you mean you don't want to ? Snap out of it." [Y/n] said as she dragged the both of them away from the incoming intruders.
" Why can't we just tell them ? I'm tired of playing hide and seek."
" Nete' it's not that simple- "
" We're in love."
Neteyam mentioned as he tugged the girl's arm, pulling her down towards him." That's all that matters."
He whispered while pulling out his bond braid from the back of his hair. Staring at [Y/n] with anticipation.
" But what will happen if they don't approve ? I can't lose you- " A tear fell down [Y/n's] cheek. She in fact did not want to lose him neither ruin their life all because of love.
" I'm not going anywhere." Neteyam replied as he grabbed [Y/n's] arm and tugged her closer.
" Everything else can wait." He said with a soft voice as his finger hooked underneath the girl's chin to bring her gaze back upwards.
Smiling as [Y/n] pulled her braid out as well, looking at him with nothing but trust.
" You better be fuckin' right this." [Y/n] replied as Neteyam chuckled lightly.
" Don't worry, princess. " He replied as he gently caressed [Y/n's] dried up tear away.
He beamed before pulling the girl's lips onto his, the kiss surprisingly slow, soft and gentle wich made the girl's heart flutter inside her chest.
" As long as we're together everything will be okay right here. "
The male reassured her as they both fell into a safe & warm embrace.
" I love you."
