[Y/N] PICKED OUT FRUITS from the forest of Pandora as she placed them inside her basket. It was a habit she had whenever she needed to take some fresh air, more precisely when she was frustrated.
She stood on her pinky toes, about to grab another berry when she tripped and collided with someone.
" Are you alright ? " A man asked as he looked at the girl on the floor.
" I don't think so." [Y/n] hissed as she shut her eyes.
" You've got to be more careful." He chuckled lightly picking up the fruits scattered on the ground.
" Here, let me help you." He suggested as he took hold of the her arm.
" Can you walk ? " He said patiently helping the girl stand on her two feet.
[Y/n] groaned as her knees buckled, her hand gripping on the male's arm for support.
" I'll bring you home." He affirmed by carrying the young woman bridal style.
" Thank you." [Y/n] breathed before asking," What's your name ? "
" I'm Ta'lom." He answered lifting her up once again, his hand holding onto her thigh making her nervous as she thought about Jake.
" Is everything okay ? " He asked noticing the shift in her mood.
" I'm okay." She reassured as a smile appeared on her face." I'm- "
" I know who you are, [Y/n]." He said rather unexpectedly as the young woman's eyes slightly widened.
" You're his wife aren't you ? "
He added as [Y/n] nodded lightly. He was the last person she wanted to think about right now.
" We're here." He announced getting inside the area and placing [Y/n] on a seat in the kitchen.
" I'll take my leave now." He gave his salute to her as he turned to leave when [Y/n] suddenly tugged on his arm.
" Do you have to leave... now ? " She peered up at him.
" I- I don't should be stay- "
" Please." She pleaded making the man sigh in defeat." I guess I'll stay for a few minutes. "
" Sit. I'll make you something." She decided taking a knife next to her.
Cutting the fruits she had collected earlier. A comfortable silence in the room as he sat beside her.
" Did something happen between the two of you ? You don't have to- " The male asked cutting in the silence as curiosity took over him.
" It's fine, Ta'lom." [Y/n] chuckled.
" My husband and I haven't been on good terms recently." She began.
" We had a big disagreement and ever since that night we haven't spoke to each other." She explained as Ta'lom quietly listened.
" I wanted to make the first move but then he started leaving me alone for most days and nights by sleeping elsewhere." She sighed.
" I got infuriated and since then we haven't made contact." She finished leaving Ta'lom quite surprised.
" I understand your situation, I've had my share of arguments but it never went to this point." He told her as a worried look was on [Y/n's] face.
