Joshua woke up to the sound of his alarm, which was incessantly ringing beside him. He blinked a few times, his bleary eyes struggling to focus on the brightly lit digits of the clock beside him. Five AM. He had to get up early today. Today was the day that he had been waiting for ever since he had arrived in Korea. Today was the day that he was going to visit the company that had cast him as a trainee.

He had received a call from the company the day before confirming that he'd been selected and he from then on would be living in the dorm. He was excited and very eager to know what the people there would be like and if he'd be able to adjust well.

He came to Korea at the age of 18 in the hopes of being a K-pop idol. He was very passionate about his guitar and singing. He was street cast by a staff of pledis company back in LA when he performed at a festival. Obviously, it wasn't easy for him to make this decision but his parents believed in him which gave him strength.

As he got ready, he couldn't help but feel a sense of nervous anticipation. He had come to Korea for his dreams, to become a part of the world that he had always admired from afar. And today, he was going to take his first steps towards that goal.

The sky outside his window was still dark, as he stepped outside into the chilly air. The city was still asleep, but Joshua felt his heart pounding in his chest. He had come too far to let this opportunity slip through his fingers.

The company's headquarters loomed ahead of him as he made his way towards it. It was a massive structure, a towering behemoth of steel and glass that seemed to scrape the skies. The building was surrounded by neatly trimmed gardens and a sparkling fountain, the water cascading down in a gentle, soothing rhythm.

Joshua felt his stomach twist into knots as he approached the front doors. He had never been this close to the company before, and the magnitude of it all was almost overwhelming. This was his chance to make something of himself, to become someone that people would look up to.

He stepped into the lobby of the building and was immediately struck by the sheer grandeur of the place. The polished marble floors gleamed under the warm lights, and the walls were adorned with glittering chandeliers and sweeping staircases.

As he walked through the halls, he couldn't help but feel lost in the immensity of it all. The company was a labyrinthine maze of corridors and rooms, each one as grand and impressive as the next. He was wandering aimlessly, not knowing where he was supposed to be.

'Wow! This place is huge' he thought as he wandered around the building, his doe eyes sparkling ever so bright.

"Excuse me, Do you perhaps know where Mr Jaehyung is?" Joshua asked a random stranger passing by who guided him to his office. He thanked him before he left and entered the office.

"Jisoo?"

He looked up to face the source of the voice, a young man with a friendly face and a warm, welcoming smile. Joshua couldn't help but feel relieved at the sight of someone who seemed familiar.

The young man was Jaehyung, the manager he was looking for, he was the only person he knew in Pledis so far. He took Joshua under his wing, leading him through the maze of hallways and rooms with practised ease. He spoke to Joshua in a gentle, reassuring tone, putting him at ease despite the overwhelming environment.

"I assume you do not know where the practice room is. Let me assist you." He just nodded and followed him.

Finally, they reached a large practice room, where a group of trainees were going through their paces with grim determination. Joshua felt a pang of envy as he watched them dance, moving with a grace and fluidity that he could only dream of.
