"Oh I'm really sorry" Jisoo apologised to the person who he bumped into. He was on on his way out of the washroom when he bumped into someone. Jisoo couldn't see him since his own face was burried in his chest due to the impact and the latter was holding his waist to make sure Jisoo doesn't fall.
"It's you! It's nice seeing you again." The latter patted his hair. Jisoo raised his head to see his face.
"Oh.... Hey! How are you?" Jisoo recognised him as the boy who helped him on his first day.
"Great! How about you? I never saw you anywhere after that day"
"Yeah! I couldn't even thank you properly. By the way I'm Jisoo, what's your name?" Jisoo asked
"It's vernon but you can call me Hansol as well. He replied.
"Vernon?"
"Yeah! I was born in Newyork but I moved here in korea when I was five" Jisoo nodded vigorously at what vernon said.
"Really? I'm American as well! I'm from LA" Jisoo said in English. He was really happy to find someone who was from America as well.
"No wonder you had an accent when speaking in korean. I'm really glad there is atleast one person I could speak English with. I'm on the verge of forgetting English you know" they both laughed.
They were having their little conversation but were interrupted by their leader scoups who was calling them for practice.
"See you later vernon" jisoo said smiling at the vernon.
"Yup! Later Josh" vernon hugged the older before they parted.
"Where were you Jisoo? I was looking for you for quite a while now." Jeonghan asked when he finally spotted Jisoo.
"Sorry! I was with a friend"
"Mingyu?" Jeonghan rolled his eyes figuring jisoo must've been with mingyu.
"No. It's someone else, you probably don't know him. Forget it! Let's go now." Jisoo said.
'He never told me he had a friend other than me and mingyu.' Jeonghan thought finding it strange since jisoo would always be with either him or Mingyu most of the time.
~Time skip~
"Shua!" Vernon tapped Jisoo's shoulder. Jisoo found Vernon's face close to him, like CLOSE close. His nose was almost touching the latter's which made jeonghan burn with jealousy. Not like he was petty but Jisoo belonged to him and him only.
Jisoo gasped and retreated backwards while vernon pulled him closer by the waist and gave him a tight hug. (At this point even I can smell something burning lmao)
"You missed me a lot I guess" Jisoo hugged him back.
"They allowed me to join this group! Now I can practice with you and just be with you more altogether" he exclaimed happily.
"That's a great news non!" Joshua smiled at him and patted his hair.
"Yeah but I have to go now. I'll be joining in starting the next week. Bye for now kiddo" he teased and ran away.
"I'M OLDER THAN YOU!" Jisoo said but vernon was already gone.
"Jisooya who was that?" Jeonghan asked holding his waist the way vernon did earlier.
"Do you remember the friend I told you about?" Jeonghan nodded. "He's that friend."
"And why did he called you shua?"
"Ahh, I never told you about this right? My English name is Joshua, Hong Joshua. Shua is short for Joshua." Jisoo replied
"Why did you never tell me about it? He must be the only person here to know your other name right?" Jeonghan asked again feeling insecure
"Yeah He's also American so we kinda clicked on right away. Talking to him is comforting and it feels like I'm back at home. He kinda gives my soul mate vibes you know" Jisoo giggled not realising the shock his words gave to Jeonghan.
"I'll also call you Joshua then!" Jeonghan said. "No, actually I wanna give you a nickname only I would to be able to call you with"
"And what would that be?" Jisoo chuckled at his childishness.
"Joshuji it is!" He announced after contemplating hard.
"What does it mean?"
"It's a secret!" He said.
"Please, I wanna know!" Jisoo gave him puppy eyes. It was Jeonghan's weakness that softened him but he didn't gave in.
"I'll tell you later when I'm ready ok?" Jisoo nodded, not wanting to push him against him will.
'You'll soon realise who your actual soulmate is! Joshuji' jeonghan mentally noted he needs to protect his baby from vernon as well.
