"Hey Vernon, Jeonghan," Joshua ran towards the boys like an excited little puppy "Are you guys done?"

"Hey, Josh. We're almost done. Just need a bit of practice after this break" Vernon said.

"Jeonghan is a slow learner, isn't he?" Joshua giggled, scrunching his nose, as if he was not teasing his friend right before him.

"Yah, I'm still better than you ok?!" Jeonghan protested.

"Jokes on you~ Cause Me and Mingyu have already got the choreography down" Joshua replied, feeling proud that they were the first pair to be done for today.

"We're al-" "Stop Jeonghan, You're embarrassing yourself" Vernon held him back, shushing him from saying anything.

"Are you my mom?" Said Jeonghan.

"You act like a kid so there needs to be someone to scold you"

"You two are already close?" Joshua smiled looking at them bickering. "Aww I feel so proud that my Hannie found a friend other than me," He said, wiping off his nonexistent tears.

"You're such a drama queen Josh~' Vernon teased, giving his shoulder a slight nudge and making him burst out in laughter.

"Why are you so over the moon today? Did your crush propose to you or something?" Jeonghan rolled his eyes.

"YOU HAVE A CRUSH AND YOU NEVER TOLD ME?" Vernon gasped, feeling betrayed.

"And you called me a drama queen" Joshua narrowed his eyes. "He just says whatever he wants. Never trust him!" He whispered the last part so that Jeonghan won't hear.

"I can hear you" Jeonghan crossed his arms as he furrowed his brows.

"Yeah, whatever. Go back to your practice now. It's late, Mingyu has already left" said Joshua.

"Then you can also go, alone. I never told you to wait for me"

"It's my first seeing Jeonghan pout, I think I have to buy a new pair of eyes" Vernon playfully furrowed his brows, covering his eyes.

"Come on Non, He's kinda cute," Joshua said which make Jeonghan smile. "I'll get going then, Bye and don't be late Jeonghan" He waved his hands and left for the dorm.

"Yeah see you later~"

Joshua had just gotten back to his dorm room. After a long day of practice, all he wanted was to kick off his shoes, put on some music and relax on his bed. He had barely walked a few steps towards his dorm door when he realized that something was off. The door was jammed shut.

"Ugh, seriously?" he muttered to himself as he pulled on the doorknob again, but to no avail. He tried pushing and pulling in different ways, but the door wouldn't budge. Joshua tried to force it open, but it wouldn't budge.

"Damn it!" he muttered, growing frustrated. He bent down to inspect the lock, wondering if something was stuck in it. But, no matter how much he wiggled or jiggled the key, the door remained stubbornly shut.

Mingyu, who lived in the room next to Joshua's, heard the commotion and poked his head out to see what was going on. "Hey, Josh, you having trouble getting in?" he called out.

Joshua looked up at him. "Yeah, man, the damn door won't open. Do you have a spare key or something?"

Mingyu shook his head. "No, sorry, I don't. But let me take a look." He made his way over to the door and gave it a gentle push. "Huh, that's weird. It's jammed."

Joshua tried once more to force it open, but it was clear that it wasn't going to budge. Mingyo stepped back, thinking. "I have an idea," he said. "Why don't we try to push it from the other side? There's a window in my room that opens onto the courtyard, and we could climb through and try to force the door open from inside."

Joshua was hesitant. "I don't know, gyu, that sounds a little risky. What if we get caught by the managers or something?"

Mingyo shook his head. "Nah, don't worry about it. It'll be fine. Let's just give it a try. Worst-case scenario, we'll just have to explain to the manager what happened."

Reluctantly, Joshua agreed. They made their way to Mingyo's room and opened the window, climbing out onto the fire escape. They made their way over to Joshua's room and tried once more to push the door open from the inside. This time, with the added leverage, the door finally gave way, swinging open with a loud creak.

"Oh my god, it opened! Thank you so much Mingyu" Joshua said.

"It's my pleasure Jisoo"

Joshua cheered in relief as he stepped over the threshold, making his way over to his bed.

As Mingyu was about to walk away, he heard a noise. A clattering sound followed by a thud. He spun around to see Mingyu stumbling backwards, having tripped on something on the floor.

Without thinking, Mingyu rushed forward to catch him, but they both lost their balance and fell on the bed together. Mingyu landed on top of him, hands bracing the weight of himself and due to the impact, Mingyu's lips touched Jisoo's soft ones– accidentally.

Mingyu quickly pulled away, both of their faces turning red with embarrassment.

Joshua found himself staring up at Mingyo's face, which was only inches away from his own. He was flustered by their proximity.

Mingyu scrambled to his feet, holding out his hand to help Joshua up. They both stood there awkwardly for a moment, neither quite sure what to say.

"I'm so sorry, I didn't mean to...that was an accident," Mingyu stuttered, clearly caught off guard too.

"It's okay," Joshua muttered, his lips tingling where they had brushed against Mingyu's. He could feel his face starting to turn red with embarrassment.
