Chapter Four: What Happened...

It took me about half an hour to get ready. I took my walkman and rushed downstairs. Waved a quick bye to Slash and Duff and went out the door.

The place wasn't that far from our house, only about 20 minutes. It was this really nice underground bewery. Mostly alcohol was sold there, that was usualy what Steven had. I usualy just went with Coke.

I enjoyed my walk through the city, the pretty fall leaves everywhere made me feel good.

Once I got there I carefully went down the stairs and opened the door to walk in.

Once I stepped in the bartender greeted me and I said hi back, then I went back to looking for a place to sit.

Then, as I was walking by a table, I thought I saw familiar blonde hair. So I turned to look back and… wait… was that? No, that can't be…

I felt tears forming in my eyes, so I quickly ran out the door and ran home.

I couldn't belive it. Steven, MY best friend, was sitting there with another girl. I felt the anger and sadness consume me. I couldn't belive it ! He ditched his best friend for some random girl he never even told me about. I mean, yeah, you didn't tell him about Axl, but this was different !

I quickly sprinted through the door. I noticed Axl and Izzy were now over too, but I was too overwhelmed to even say hi. I just cried very hard.

"Ray? RAY ! Shit what happened?!" I could hear my brother call, but I didn't even bother to turn back.

I sprinted up the stairs into my room, slammed the door shut and cried even more. I then curled up in the corner of my room, still being overwhelmed by the situation.

Duff's POV.:

"The fuck happened…?" Axl asked.

"I don't know, but it didn't look too good." I responded.

"We should go check on her." Slash stated as he got up from his seat.

"Yeah, let's go." I said as me and the others got up and went upstairs.

"Ray, honey, we are coming in, okay?" I asked. I didn't wanna burst in there without her knowing.

"Mhm…" I heard her sob.

"Okay." I slowly opened the door. "Are you fine with Slash, Izzy and Axl coming in, too?"

She nodded her head in responce.

"Oh, Ray, what happened…?" I asked, softly. Sitting infront of her.

I have never seen my sister cry so much. She was just in her corner crying her eyes out. Whatever just happened must have really hurt her.

Ray's POV.:

I couldn't even speak. I wanted to stay something, but I just couldn't.

"S-Steven…" I managed to get out.

Then I hand touch my shoulder. It was a gentle touch, but I didn't recognize it. I slowly looked up, I expeted it to be Duff, but it was Axl.

He gently hugged me and I hugged him back tightly. He allowed me to cry into his chest. This was not how I expected to spend a a Saturday night. And even tho I was still pissed at Steven, Axl's warm hug felt comforting.

After a while, I managed to stop crying. However Axl still held me in his arms.

"Do you want to tell us what happened now?" I heard Slash ask.

I nodded, took a deep breath and started talking: "So, today Steven canceled our weekly routine. I didn't know why, as none of us never canceled. But then I decided to go out still, because I felt like going our favourite spot. But when I came there, I saw Steven with another girl…" I explained with a very shaky voice before I started to cry again.

"What an ass." Izzy spoke.

"I can't belive he did something like that ! He didn't wanna go with his best friend but went out with some other girl? To YOUR favourite place? Unbelivable." Slash stated.

"He better explain tomorrow." Duff said, very pissed.
