Chapter 8: teaching the kids

The next morning Taylor and Henry wakes up Taylor is laying on Henry's chest she groans a little and smiles Henry kisses her head "good morning baby" he says wide awake Taylor looks up at him "morning, how long have you been awake?" She asks "since 8" he tells her she nods and sits up she looks at her phone "shit it's already 9:30!" She says and gets up "what's wrong?" Henry asks sitting up Taylor walks to the closet "I'm teaching the kids how to fight at 10 remember" she says Henry nods his head slightly "oh right I forgot about that, babe you still have 30 minutes and it's literally across the room" he says softly she nods her head "ya I know I just wanna be good you know" she says Taylor picks out her clothes and puts on a black oversized hoodie and black sweatpants with her white converse "ok how do I look?" She asks looking at Henry, he smiles "you look beautiful baby" he says "ya okay" she smiles
"Love you oh you can come watch if you want" she says and walks out the door closing it behind her

She walks into the practice room across from her old room she gets everything ready she puts the mats down on the floor and some on the wall around the room she gets some cans and sets them on the counter for fighting and some other stuff she stops when she sees the kids walking in "hey kids right on time" she smiles and smiles "ya that's how we are" Chapa says the kids walk to the mats and turns around looking at Taylor waiting for her to get them started after Taylor was done setting everything up she turns around and looks at them "ok so I've set something's up that we're going to use, Theirs water in the mini fridge and theirs some snacks as well so feel free to get whatever but not every 5 minutes okay we need to be serious about this, we're going to work hard but also do it safety alright" she says the kids all nods their head understanding "ok great now the first thing I wanna start off with is kicks that's important okay if you don't know how to kick right then you're going to get beaten down and we don't want that, so I'm going to pair you guys up chapa,Bose are together and Mika and miles" Taylor says Mika and miles walks to the over mat while Chapa and Bose stay on the mat Taylor looks over

She sees Henry leaning against the door watching them she smiles and looks back at the kids "ok so when you kick you wanna aim for the Face okay if you can do that-" Taylor gets cut off by Mika kicking Miles in the Face he falls down "Mika! What was that?!" He questions "see great Job Mika but not so hard okay" Taylor tells her she nods alright let's get to work" she says and starts playing music to get them in the fighting mood the starts practicing their kicks through on the day Taylor let them take small brakes making sure she wasn't pushing them to hard Taylor was teaching them how to kick,punch,flip,hit and throw they were doing amazing they knew everything just needed practice after a few hours it was 1:00pm Taylor looks up from her watch "alright practice is over it's lunch time go get cleaned up take showers and you guys amazing today" she says the kids walk out of the room and up the tubes taking showers Taylor puts everything away and walks out of the room "that was amazing baby you really know how to Teach" Henry tells her she smiles "thank you baby" she says "you're very welcome" Henry says

They walk to the room "I'm going to take a shower" Taylor tells him "okay babe" Henry says and sits on the bed Taylor walks in the bathroom with new clothes she shuts the bathroom door and turns on the water she takes off her sweaty clothes putting them in the Hamper and gets the shower after a few minutes of watching her body and hair she gets out, puts on her clean clothes and sets her hair with a towel she walks out of the bathroom "feel better?" Henry asks Taylor nods "practice was good today" Henry says "yes it was the kids really got it down but still needs practice" she says he nods "ya they will get there" he says "yes they will" she smiles and lays down on the bed Henry lays down as well and they both fell asleep in each others arms
