"Ah! Headmage Crowley...!" Ace yelled and all the colors left his face, making he be as white as the ghosts from Ramshackle, Grim and Deuce weren't different. Y/n turned away from them and procced to, carefully, put the chandelier on the floor without it breaking and returned her attention to the drama in front of her.

"YOU. TWO. AGAIN. What have you done this time?!" Crowley shouted and pointed to Ace and Grim, who was looking at Crowley but still a little dizzy from the fall.

"Myaaah... Everything's spinning..."

Crowley looked at Y/n's direction and spotted the chandelier on the floor, unharmed, but still on the floor and he finally understood what happened. "Almost burning a statue wasn't enough for you? Now you've almost destroyed a chandelier?! Enough. All of you, except Y/n, are expelled!"

The nymph gasped quietly and put her hand over her mouth in schock.

'Damn he really snapped at them! Well, at least I'm not expelled.'

"Whaaaaaaaaat?!" Ace and Deuce yelled at the same time.

"Headmage, please! Give me a second chance! I can't get expelled from this school! I need to be here!" Deuce said at Crowley with a pleading expression on his face.

"Then blame yourself for your own foolish behavior." The bird man said and crossed his arms while looking away from the student.

'True, if only he just had think more and didn't throw Ace at the chandelier...'

"What?!"

"That chandelier is no mere light fixture. It is magical chandelier. Its candles are powered by a magical energy source, enchanted so that they will burn for eternity. It was created for us by a legendary artificer. Possibly their finest creation. It has been here since the school was established, and I imagined it would be here forevermore. Considering its historical value, I would estimate its worth to be no less than a billion thaumarks." Crowley explained to them and sighed.

"I just cannot let this happen again. This was the second time something like that happened in not even a span of one day with the same ones that almost burned a statue. If it wasn't for Y/n I'm certainly that the statue AND the chandelier would've been damage." He looked at the said woman and nodded at her. "For that I'm in debt with you, Y/n." She also nodded at him in acknowledge.

"A... A billion marks?!" Deuce asked perplexed.

"B-but it wasn't even damaged as you said headmage!" Ace tried to convince Crowley.

"Humn... I can give you another chance." The bird man said and the two students stared at him im awe.

"Really?!"

"Yes BUT with one condition!" He exclaimed, Y/n looked at him with curiosity, Crowley put his finger under his chin and grinned at them. "I was thinking for some time of replacing the magestone of this chandelier, and the magestone that power this chandelier was mined from the Dwarfs' Mine. If you can acquire a magestone with the same properties, it may be possible to repair it." The nymph's eyes widened at this and she looked at the headmage in shock.

'He's taking advantage of the situation! This bird man is more mischievous than I thought!'

"Then I'll go find a magestone! With your permission, sir!" Deuce said with a determinated expression.

"I should caution you that I cannot promise there yet remain magestones to find. The mines were closed quite some time ago. It is quite likely that all of the magestones have already been mined."

'Then why did you gave them hope bird man?!'

"I will do anything to avoid expulsion, sir!"

"Hmmm... Very well, then. I will suspend your expulsion for a single night. But if you fail to return with a magestone by morning, then all of you are expelled." Y/n could feel the amusement from Crowley and she narrowed her eyes at him while she picked Grim, still dizzy, off the ground.
