"Give me your wolf , Daeliah and i will save him " Victoria turned around straight looking at Davina . she wasn't asking this time . her voice had so much authority that although Davina wasn't part of her fraction anymore she could feel Daeliah quivering in fear .

" NO- she might die " Lucifer said almost standing in between them hiding Davina behind her . Davina stood there almost not believing what Victoria just said . One can't separate the wolf from the human unless one of them dies first leading to their reincarnation .

" C'mon don't feign innocence now Lucifer . you knew this is the only way yet you brought me here and who knows if devil wants she might make it out alive " Victoria replied cutting Lucifer in between hinting to what she meant .

" What will you do with Daeliah ?" Davina said not batting an eye to Lucifer . He was trying to understand what she was feeling at the moment but her face was showing him an unfathomable expression . like she will attack on Victoria any moment if her response won't convince her .

" The kid's wolf is dead and so his human . So - So " Victoria hesitated a little but before she could finish her word , Davina stepped in between .

" So , you will give my wolf to him ?" Davina stepped backward as horror masked her face . The thought of loosing Daeliah for forever was giving her anxiety but at the same time , a possibility of getting Ethan back was putting her in dilemma and she knew this couldn't be only her decision .

" Daeliah , " She called out to her wolf in hesitation but nothing followed .

" I wont do it " there was an odd calmness in her wolf's voice . Like Daeliah was holding back her anger . Davina didn't said anything as her eyes wondered back and forth from Lucifer and Victoria , both were waiting for her answer .

"You will die , Davina . will you still do it ? " Daeliah whispered in a barely audible voice .Davina lips curled up in a smile but this was filled with sadness .

" We will do it " Davina answered after a long pause and victoria clapped in excitement as Lucifer took a step back . His eyes went dark as his fist clenched in anger afterall this was all his idea to begin with .

The possible thought of her dying was scaring him . This was not written in the course of the nature . Lucifer was scared to even imagine this as her future and her death is something he can't foresee . Maybe because she is still somewhat a wolf who was not supposed to exist .

His breath was getting heavier and Davina could sense his guilt in his eyes which he was fighting hard to hide . She stepped to where he was as she looked into his dark yet mesmerizing eyes .Oddly she couldn't deny his beauty . His messed hair falling over his forehead , covering his frowned and perfect eyebrows as there were laugh lines on his cheeks from all the sly smiles he does looking at any creature . he was deathly charming . In a way that can make one want to seek death on their own accords .

" Is that the reason , you are seeking death little demon ? " Lucifer asked as he heard her thoughts .

" Stop hearing my thoughts " Davina said pushing him away all flustered , making Lucifer chuckle for a second .

"Then stop thinking about me , lil one " He said crouching to her height and patting her head softly . There was a comforting softness in his aura . the type of comfort Alex once used to give .

Victoria cleared her throat making them focus on her .

" We need the kid's body and - and the Alpha King . "

" Why him ? "

" because the kid is under his pack's fraction . His wolf king presence is necessary for the wolf to not go rogue "

" If you do it , he will get to know your truth " Davina replied . Although its clearly what she wants but the scenario is not what she imagined it to be .

" His wolf already knows who you are Davina , isn't that the reason he marked you . "

"yo-you "

" Its just a matter of time , Davina . His human will soon remember you and - and he is just not my type . it's tough to see his face everyday "

" what's wrong with his face ?"

" you know - just not my type . I like someone like him " Victoria said pointing towards the not so interested person in this conversation . Davina's eyes moved towards the person Victoria was pointing to .

Lucifer ,
he smiled waving at them from one hand as he had cup of tea in another but what surprised Davina the most was his action . How is he in mood to have tea right now and how did he get one in between . ?

" Oh C'mon , Don't look so surprised . This is my palace , lil demon . you name it and i have it " Lucifer said sarcastically .

" and yeah , i am sorry Victoria . Although I am your type and I am not surprised coz why should I? but not so surprisingly you are not my type . " he said nonchalantly .

" I said , i like someone like you . not you " victoria retorted . 

" I am limited edition . There is no one like me "  Lucifer almost shouted like he was offended at someone like him being existing 

" Guys - " Davina almost screamed at them . It will be a lie if one said Davina wasn't getting bothered by Victoria being close to Lucifer but this was not on her to-do list right now . She looked back at both of them staring at her . At times Davina wondered if this was how all the other  gods were like ? 

" Do whatever is necessary to save him . i will get his body and one of you can get Alex , and just save Ethan . "Davina said in a pleading tone , trying her best to keep her voice steady . Lucifer expression shifted as his fingers gripped the teacup tighter not wanting to hear what Davina was goin to say next . " I don't care , even if i have to die- " 

" You won't die ,That's not gonna happen  , " Lucifer growled stopping Davina in between   ,he was holding her closer , closer enough for her to hear and feel his hot breath on her neck .His voice was deep and menacing, and his body radiated a dark aura. Davina couldn't believe if he was the same man who was just sitting a second back having tea like he doesn't owe anything to the world .
